Is it in the works or something because EVERY game has a video showcasing it with a nude mod BUT NOT PERSONA?!!? I mean pictures are good but I want to see it run it in the game.

Where would they post the videos? Persona 5 is about teenagers, and people love to flip out about underage fictional characters. Especially this game's hypocritic fanbase. And it doesn't help that the modders don't seem to be very interested in the adult characters, so yeah.

They believe that a nude mod could be created but from these images:

In the original Persona 5 topic I saw that they were doing Ann's so I wonder if they have finished the other girls'.
Since it looks strange that they are naked in the game but in those images that appear when they talk to you they have clothes

Pretty sure this is the edit I was working on like last year. I posted replacements for all of Ann's, took a look at the next one in my list which was going to be Makoto, which hers looked a bit more involved, so I took a break and never resumed.

Can definitely see some spots on this that could be done better. Did anyone ever end up using the edited portraits? I couldn't manage to get them to work properly in the emulator.

Edit:

Also don't know if anyone else has tried them, but I just loaded the images I created into someone else's portrait replacement mod. They're significantly smaller than the portraits in game. Not sure why because I didn't change the size on the images when I ripped them from Persona 5 last yr. Also seems to have a glitch with the facial expression.

First I want to thank @jmedia7 for this quality work  ??

For Nintendo Switch users, it is not possible to use all GMD files, even doing a game dump and mount, at least it didn't work for me. Therefore, follow the gamebanana guide, keep the PATCH1.CPK file below 35 mb, compressing it, see the game models and their numbers here, and if it works greater than 35mb or even the dump thing, let me know.

Don't forget the order: EN > MODEL > CHARACTER

edit: I took the liberty of selecting some models and mods, like the Max Handheld Resolution, Cutscene Outfits and Kiri's Colorful Buttons Pack, ps_colored_buttons_variant_1, I think. So, thank you Onion Kid, Sierrai17, Kirisa.

edit2: Kasumi's nude is the bikini outfit and her "sister", is summer uniform.

edit3: Guys, I'm really sorry, I didn't put the colored buttons mod, and I forgot to put pictures of Hifumi and Kawakami. So follow the .zip with the buttons and some changes. Download it P5R_Nude_Nintendo_Switch_with_colorB, if you prefer, but I recommend it (my opinion) ?

P5R_Nude_Nintendo Switch_MHR_CutOut_colorbutton.rarUnavailable

P5R_Nude_Nintendo_Switch_with_colorB.rar 28.39 MB · 592 downloads

sorry for asking , could you change korean version for me ? i already tried many hours myself but it changes nothing .

i changed forder name from en to kr but failed, and secondly tried input files base but also failed

( i put PATCH1.cpk file to atmosphere/contents/01004B10157F2000/romfs/cpk/  am i doing something wrong?? ) plz help me

hey is there any other way to edit models then using 3dsMax? Im working on making a ann skin but im not even able to access 3dsMax I tried the student trick but it just keeps saying that their site is dealing with issues or that they cant verify the information i put in XD I am aware of GFDStudio and tried using it, but i was hoping for a program like blender that could be used.

I've sort of been wondering this as well.

The fbx format from blender just isnt compatible with p5 so you have to use 3dsmax. You could try the "better fbx" plugin for blender but i dont think it works. There's a "free" version of 3dsmax 2018 online somewhere.

I found a version of the 2023 software but whenever I try to load an already modded .GMD file an error occurs and it freezes out the program. Any suggestions?

the plugin was made specifically for the 2018 version. I think the 2021 version also works but I don't remember. I use the 2018 build

Ah, okay, I found a 2018 version but no way to activate it, so it only has 30 days on it.

While I'm trying to figure out 3DS Max, I think I'll also try to figure out textures. I'm not really good when it comes to paint/editing work, tho. I'm also finding it difficult to make her body color match her face, even though I'm using the color the dropper gives for her face.

Edit: Literally cracked it like right after I posted this. I'll just need to add some details for genitalia now.

hey everyone i think i did something wrong.  i installed the mod with reloaded II and launched the game through it, the console from reloaded II says "Nude Mod loaded in 0 MS" which seems odd, since every other entry is over 20ms.

And ingame nothing changes

Okay, I finished my texture edits if anyone is interested. I did a few different versions.

I included previews for most of them in the file, but I'll post them here as well. For the heck of it, I did version with an inmon (there's another without the "breed me"). There's also 2 versions with the Phantom Thieves logo (one with text and one without). Just because I thought the idea of her awakening to her persona/getting her metaverse outfit and it literally having her privates exposed with the symbol for the people she had just spent however long pursuing plastered above her womb to symbolize her inner rebellion was hilarious. And then, of course there is one without anything over her womb.

And the last one I did is another plain/no  spandex one, where I tried to add a little more detail to have her butt cheeks be distinguishable, since this is just a texture edit of her OG metaverse outfit, and it doesn't really have defined/separated cheeks like the nude mod.

Also figured I'd ask, since I feel like I must be doing something wrong. I'm using the CriPakGUI to extract the base game files, but each time I've tried all it gives me is a folder that says "BATTLE" that has two folders "CAMERA" and "CUTIN." There's only one file OFFS_CAMERA.DAT .

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Edit: Answer was I was using a different version of the tools that didn't seem to work on P5R

Could you do this to the Personas some of them have better looks. Like Pixie, Succubus, and High Pixie would look great that way.

Can someone give me a quick rundown on how to make my own nude mod?
I want to make some with realistic breasts and sexy, but not skimpy, attire

The Nude Mods are fine as they are, we are in an anime game not in a game with realistic graphics to ask for that. What is needed is that they make Nude Mods but of the girls that are missing Tae Takemi among others

especially Sae Niijima who is one of the main ones (although this one I admit would be complicated since you would need to create an additional texture for her shadow)

yes, they are fine. but they could be a lot better, especially with breasts that aren't how a horny sixth grader draws them

I've been messing with the model for Makoto's first outfit in the game in blender, but I'm stuck when it comes to setting the bones. I've been trying to use ShrineFox's rigging custom models tutorial, but I'm honestly very lost.

Anyways, nothing revolutionary. All I did was get rid of her leggings and then shrink the skirt. I also added panties as well, but nothing crazy for the moment.

So basically, my plan for my first actual model edit was just bare legs, shorter skirt, ultra short skirt, and then a skirtless version. But I'm sort of stuck when it comes to adding the bones to the model.

Out of curiosity, how are you importing your models into blender? Yours looks like a clean easy import. I've been exporting them as .dae files but that usually gives me faceless abominations or doubled up models.

I've been importing the .GMD files into 3ds max and exporting those as FBX and opening those  in blender. Seems to result in a clean port at least for my attempts so far.

The original nude models were better, when they had pubes. Now they all have bald, featureless slits. That can be fixed in Photoshop, but it's still lame and usually an indicator of someone who doesn't like signs of physical maturity in women.

Unfortunately, still haven't figured out bones, but I have made progress. I have figured out how to assign them and weight paint them. It definitely takes a lot of time to weight paint them manually. And for whatever reason, even though I'm making sure the weights match the OG model's, when I run any of the poses the model still turns into spaghetti. I feel like I am probably going to be stuck on this phase for a while. Also, since weight painting is a pain, I'll probably only do 3 versions of that other model (Bare legs, micro skirt, no skirt).

I have cheated and made another model using Angel's outfit. Idk, I've always appreciated it. If/when I figure out bones, Ill probably do a version of this with the blindfold and a version without.

Let's go, finally figured out them bones!
image.png.08453ffad33dd703fd8ac71b9ccb1a96.png

It now poses correctly on the ones I've run it through in 3DS Max. Advisory in case anyone else here is as dumb as me: if you're only altering something on part of the body, you don't need to reweight paint the bones on the entire model. That's part of what took me so long was I was treating it like I needed a fully-rebuilt model when it was only the legs really. On the plus side, definitely got in a fair amount of practice with playing with bones.

The next issue I've run into is with GFD Studio. The model looks like that when I export it, but when I import it into GFD Studio, it looks like this:
image.png.5e1f580bc0172bf59282396247078809.png

Is there a setting that I'm messing up with when exporting from 3DS Max?

Also, despite the legs and panties having materials before being exported, the imported version doesn't link any materials to them when I replace the OG model in the file with my edited one. Ideally, though, I'd prefer to be able to create new UV maps for the legs and panties to have them be separate (it would be nice if it could just use whatever maps it's using in 3DS Max).

Anyone able to give me some pointers here? If not, I'll just keep playing with it and hopefully figure something out.

the export settings are listed here: https://crowpocalypse.gitbook.io/making-custom-models-for-persona-5/exporting

The materials should be copied over from the og model if the mesh names are the same. If not, then gfd studio asigns it a new material with ugly default values.
