Fall of the Dragonborn SSE not detecting required mods and unable to change settings

I have installed Fall of the Dragonborn SSE with all of its hard requirements and some of its soft requirements, but for some reason the MCM menu does not detect that they are there. Also, when I try to change any of the values shown as "0" in the attached screenshots, they immediately revert to 0. The hotkey to check humiliation/exhibitionism doesn't do anything, even if I change the hotkey. I have tried checking the "recheck mods" option, but that has no effect either. It seems like the mod is not functioning at all because I have tried to trigger "breaks" through the MCM menu, and have had my character run around towns naked in game to try and cause a break, but they never occur. I have tried starting multiple new games to see if that would help, and also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mod, but neither did anything to resolve the issue. I also tried moving FOTD to both the top and bottom of my load order, but that had no effect either. The papyrus log I attached is from a new game after choosing a start location and installing sexlab through the MCM. I took a look through it and noticed a lot of instances where FOTD variables and properties had errors like in the below excerpt:

There are many more errors that show up in the log related to FOTD, but I'm not sure what they mean, or what I would need to do to resolve them. I could only find the discussion thread for the LE version of this mod, which I have used successfully when modding Skyrim LE, but I haven't seen anyone posting issues with this version.

im having exactly the same problem

1. This is the LE section not the SE/AE section

2. This is a LotD problem not a tech support problem.
