I highly suggest Haydee and Haydee 2.

 

The first is a puzzle platformer with shooter elements.

Both are really fun, but VERY unforgiving.

 

Very moddable, though.

Mostly it depends on which type of game engine you are looking at, if you are not that picky, take a look at meltys quest (complete), defrenstation (in development), and succulence (complete), not succulence two as that is pretty meh currently, as that is still in development and has basically been reset a couple of times.

 

You could also go here https://f95zone.to/sam/latest_alpha/ and select female protag from the filters section then browse to see what tickles your fancy, do be aware most of them are either indy games or in development or in some cases abandoned.

I would say that Sakura Dungeon is still at the top of the pile as far as complete adult games with female protagonist go all of this time after its release.
