When we sleep all idea and conception from yesterday are gone 2/3 in our memory.

Sleeping without writing the important part down on the agenda will very likely be forgotten on the next day.

 

That's why there were old saying that human start a new every morning, ironically it does because we're forgetful.

it's funny how brains work, old stuff then resurface as dream & archetype of limbo.

I've found that if I imagine a scenario and play it out, whilst I'm in my bed ready to doze off, I'll continue the scenario as a dream. Then I'll wake up and try to remember what I was thinking about. Some sort o' wacko lucid dream.

Some of the dreams have been VERY cool. Others horrific.

 

A cool'un:

 

 

There is a plateau, sticking out from the side of a tall mountain that consists of mud and beige stone. Various bushes, in clumps, are scattered along the face of the mountain.

A small village is placed upon this plateau; the houses made of wood with roofs of thatching. Some of the houses are missing parts of their roofs, which have been covered up with flat red-wood boards.

Behind the plateau is a gradual slope that connects it to flat land that has marshes arranged in rectangles, with the slope having turned into a path that goes straight through the marshes and into a dense forest. The forest, with my powers of deduction, is around five hundred meters or so away from the plateau.

Infront of the plateau is a sharp path that winds up the mountain. There is an inset not far from the plateau where there is a man who looks akin to a Native American chieftain. His face is scared and weathered. The front of his hair is short and forced to the sides. The back of his hair is unkempt, sans for the long ponytail that reaches the top of his waist.

Infront of this man is a burly caucasian male, sat atop a tall white steed. Both rider and horse are clad in platemail, their faces being the only unprotected part of themselves. This white man has a cloak that is billowing to his left as he faces the NA-looking fellow. [[i'll refer to the Native American-like person as N'Amer, and the white man as Causian]]

Behind Causian is a long line of spearmen in double file. Their numbers are of such proportions that they veer off behind the mountain. There is the occasional swordsman inbetween the ranks of the spearmen. The soldiers are clad in what looks like a cross between European platemail and Chinese scalemail.

N'Amer places his right leg behind him, rotating his foot so that it points away from him. His left leg points toward the armoured white horseman. He bends his right leg so that he is slanted. Right hand clenched whilst the left one is open, his right arm is held in such a way that his forearm is perpindicular to the ground and his bicep is opposite his chest. His left arm is outstretched, following his body's slant so that it points to the ground.

Causian smirks slightly at the pose that is on show. He proceeds to speak, his deep voice making N'amer nervous somewhat, his body shaking for a slight moment as the man begins to converse.

"You do know that you won't make it out alive. Your time is wasted here. As soon as I'm through with you, your people will become mine. I won't leave any as a free man."

As soon as the armoured horseman finished his monologue, N'Amer launched himself off the ground, leaping straight towards the armoured man. As he does so, his brow narrows as a blue aura swirls around him, spinning around his limbs. The voice of his ancestors humm, murmor and speak incoherently to him.

As his flight brings him close to the horseman, a specter takes shape behind him. The specter has the general shape of a human, but it lacks any discernable features. It's movements mimic the ones that N'Amer makes, the voices having silenced.

The horseman now close enough to be assaulted, N'Amer attempts to take out the eyes of the horseman, his hands attempting to grab at his face.

Causian's smirk has long since turned into a furrowed brow, his lips closed and relaxed. As N'Amer's hands near his face, a red aura spreads out from him. This aura stops N'Amer's hands from reaching him, as well as burning N'Amer to ashes.

The soldiers, having witnessed this spectacle, shift around in their armour with unease. The horseman hardly twitched as the fellow was burned to dust and swept away by the wind.

The mounted fellow looks back over his soldiers for a moment. He turns his gaze back to the village and heads onwards, the troops following close behind.

 

 

I'd type the horriffic one, but I'm having a hard time focusing. That'll have to do for now.

this is how a typical american thinks.

male circumcision => fine

female circumcision => omg

but actually both are same. it just they compare the wrong versions. clitrodecotmy is compared to removing of the foreskin

it's totally wrong. the right comparison is clitrois unhooding to removing of the foreskin. it's more severe to the man cause the large area is removed.

The reason we think "omg" is because you don't hear about female circumcision, you hear about a bunch of crazy Muslims mutilating women.

Conversations are strange like that. Yesterday I dreamed that I was a reporter in press conference with Obama. Somehow this led to me snapping and blowing up Australia, Great Britian, most of the metropolitan areas in the US, and Russia's nukes all blowing up covering the entire country in radiation.... Also China got hit by a hidden weapons platform that was covered with lasers in orbit around Earth.

Is This The Reason Why Male Circumcision Is Still Not Banned??

 

A Confession of a random guy who talked with Dr. Leila Mehra in Geneva

 

January 12, 1992, I paid a visit to the World Health Organisation (WHO) in Geneva, where I met Dr. Leila Mehra. I was then preparing a paper, which I developed in a book in Arabic, French and English on male and female circumcision. I asked her: "Why the WHO is concerned only with female circumcision and doesn't consider male circumcision?" She responded: "Male circumcision is mentioned in the Bible. Do you want to create problems for us with the Jews?" The same day, I met Mrs. Berhane Ras-Work, president of the Inter-African committee in her office in Geneva. Strangely enough, she gave me the same answer, illustrating that the two of them undoubtedly consulted each other before meeting with me.

 

While I am reading this book, UNICEF Switzerland is waging an intensive and aggressive campaign against female excision. UNICEF, as other international and region organisations, refuses to use the term circumcision, because it may produce confusion with male circumcision. Not one single word is said about male circumcision. UNICEF never produced any document on male circumcision, and always refused to open the debate about this subject. Maybe for the same reasons invoked by Leila Mehra and Berhane Ras-Work: "Male circumcision is mentioned in the Bible. Do you want to create problems for us with the Jews?" It is absolutely sure that if UNICEF begins a campaign against male circumcision similar to its campaign against female circumcision, it will be labelled anti-Semitic and many governments will stop financing it. Because of money and fear, UNICEF is violating its mission to protect the children, all the children, regardless of their religion or gender. The same can be said of the United Nations Organization (UNO), which developed many activities and issued many resolutions against female circumcision but refused to take any position against male circumcision, as it has been requested by activists struggling against this practice. Let us remember here a fact that the great majority of people, even intellectuals, ignore: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Convention on the rights of the child and other important international texts don't mention the right to physical integrity, most probably to avoid interpreting it as a condemnation of male circumcision

so the conclusion is Jews are the one who don't allow to ban this practice.!! it's true Muslims practice it too but still Jews have a more reputation than Muslims in the West. so it's mostly Jews who are responsible for existence of the practice.

 

3. male circumcision is more severe to female circumcision (except in Africa) cause in most of countries women are only unhooded and it's not severe at all like the male circumcision.

 

4. it's a mutilation so middle east or not it doesn't matter. it's still a human right violation specially the underage mutilation.

Most of my dreams are just imitations of real life that are a little off. I dream of playing video games but it's usually me at the computer playing game on screen rather than getting literally immersed into it. (If I were immersed into a game that'd be easiest dream induced lucid dream ever)  I sometimes get interesting movie-like dreams that are in 3rd person. When I dream of Fallout it's always the Glow in the first one (probably because that was a bit scary when I first played it) , if I dream of the elder scrolls I'm always getting chased by hyperintelligent all-pervasive guards (usually Daggerfall's halt halting ones).

 

My recent video game dream was of old school Everquest and I kept training/griefing some dwarf cleric in Overthere as a bard. No idea why, it was funny in the dream though.

I don't believe I've ever had a fallout dream... during my 7 years of attempting to get off my WoW addiction and relapsing, I dreamed a lot about having a team of engineers parachute down into Stormwind and massacring all the pesky humans. I guess it was just my mind telling me to blow up metropolitan areas.

Worst dream was wierd though.

Awoke in my bed like normal just every object was getting bigger and then getting slower.

Like messing around with a scale tool in some 3d editors.

One moment my bed and other stuff were huge and then I was crushed by my room because it shrunk.

Had 3 times now.

That's terrible... You ever have that dream where you are unable to do anything but crawl slowly trying to get away from something, and you can't see it and don't know what it is? I used to have that dream going prone through the snow when i was younger all the time. Always woke up feeling exhausted from constant movement.

i have a dream where a little dwarf is asking me "did you go to pee before going to sleep" and i always say "no"  and he replys "well what do you wait for!!!"   and i wake up wet !!!        after monthes of medications and therapie the doctor told me to answer "yes" to the dwarf and see what happening.        after a year i met the doctor again very happy i am no longer peeing in bed and it was very encouraging  - but and there is a but -  i have another probleme i said to the doctor  when i sleep the dwarf appears and ask me again "did you go to pee"  and i say determind  "yes"  then and my probleme is here   the dwrf is looking at me with a big smile and then reply      " well it is time to poo !!!!"

I love dreams and nightmares. You never know what you will see. My two most recent ones weren't anything special, but a majority of mine are vivid/lucid. There should be a thread here somewhere for posting dreams people want to share; would this be ok under general discussion?

 

Recent,short(day before yesterday):

 

The last one I had involved me being a university student and my neighbor was my roommate; we were watching a documentary about alien artifacts, all of which were sealed in a lead chamber because they were radioactive. They have cameras in the thing and they do experiments on it, like charge it with electricity, put other materials near it. It is missing a chunk and actually tries to rebuild itself, but the missing piece is so large it would take years for the tunnel under it to supply enough parts. They use robots like the ones the swat team has to take metals, fuels, and water to the thing. I left the place and met one of my coworkers in a lobby; he was wheelchair bound (he isn't in real life) touring people around campus, but he was younger, this dude is in 60's right now, has gray hair, but I swear what I saw was him being mid-late 40s, with black hair even lol. The funny thing is this guy doesn't speak english, but in the dream he had one of the cleanest voices I have ever heard and he spoke to me in english. I guess he was a history professor.

 

Last lucid one, long and nerdy(a week ago):

In the other one I had I was walking around a store, I was a kid again (6-7ish?) and my sister and grandma were looking at housewares crap, I wandered off and looked at the toys and games, I was aware that I was dreaming at this point but what I saw made my jaw hit the floor. I don't play DS games or even own a DS, but I saw this on a rack, sometimes stuff like this makes me wonder if its a vivid dream or if these things exist in another place: Zelda Ura, playable on a DS mounted to the wall, there were a few pokemon games (one for Nurse joy: Rose pink, officer jenny: Cobalt blue, and for Brock: Stone gray;seriously what the fuck were these about?). The one that caught my attention the most though was a star wars one on the playstation 3 (which I also do not own). I haven't played any star wars games in almost 10 years, but this one was crazy: It took place before a new hope and what you did was either play as Darth vader, Boba Fett or Han Solo. I chose vader and what the objective of the game was to choose where on a planet to land, it had some crazy view like supreme commander, you could land by yourself in a shuttle or request other ships to land with you if you wanted to take territory by force or you talk the people into allying with you (mostly through bribery and threats though), and collecting resources to build the Deathstar. The story for Solo was right before he met Chewbacca. He does deliveries for the Imperials (At a giant metal Halo in the outer rim? Preconstruction of the Deathstar maybe? There were actually two of these floating around, both being built at the same time) to payback Jabba for his (bought on credit) ship, but realizes that it would take forever to pay him off for its use and instead decides to steal it and look for work somewhere else (cloud city).  Boba Fett looks for Solo under a contract from Jabba, but does hit jobs for the Imperials; Imperials find out that Solo won't be making deliveries anymore, and they also decide to take a hit on Solo because he knows where the halos are (even though he didn't know what they were for). In case the rebels find out about the construction yard they fear that he will lead them back, so they hire all the other bounty hunters, which Boba also runs into and fights against/with across different planets. He meets Chewbacca, who is also another target for Boba Fett; Chewbacca tells Solo that he has experience with fighting in the clone wars and understands how Boba Fett thinks, and hes also on the run because he was the only person apart from Luke later in the trilogy who knew where Yoda fled to. Boba Fett is supposed to freeze Solo so he can bring him back first to the Imperials and show that he is no longer a threat, and later take the body back to Jabba to get paid. The trouble he has with that is Imperials and Jabba BOTH want to keep the body; Boba Fett wants to cash out and make double for his services, so he thinks that if he presents Chewbacca alive/dead to Vader before mentioning Solo they will waive Han Solos contract and instead pay for a captured/dead Chewbacca, and leave the other body for Jabba. This game really reminded me of KOTR and would be crazy cool if they ever made something like this.

 

Other,short, about a month ago:

 

I was at the store with my dad and I went to the electronics section, but it seemed like it was more of a computer store than anything. I was just there, so I didn't know what the joint was called. Video cards are external devices like cartridges on a Nintendo, some with long/short slots, more or less expensive. Motherboards in what seems to be a console like construction have the CPU soldered onto the board(No upgrades? Truly this was a nightmare) It had a lid to enclose the board and only leave the slots showing. It was easy for anyone to install or remove parts this way, since all the slots are keyed and only an idiot would put things in the wrong way, but all the cases were made out of plastic, not like the metallic/aluminium frames we have irl. Apparently linux had its own hardware platform, the slots on the boards were way longer and the CPU they had wasn't Intel or AMD, it had an IBM emblem on it. All the apple stuff was really small compared to it, all premade, no slots, but it did have something on a banner: "The most energy efficient computers on the planet". It looked like Apple took some kind of eco approach for this hardware, not that I care since I love overpowered rigs. Did I see the future? Is there still time to prevent this from happening? lol

 

 

Most notable dream: Finding out there is a 27th letter in the english alphabet, never seen any symbol that even looks remotely like it. It's stuff like this that makes me wonder if dreams are "just dreams" or something else entirely.

I dreamt I was back in highschool (nightmare in of itself, should have noticed it was a dream) and the lunchlady wouldn't give me lunch. By the time she did the lunch was almost over and I had to put the tray in my backpack for some reason. Pizza and was all over my books and idk where the rest of the food went in my bag.
