traison Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 While it is possible there's backwards compatibility issues, I would not go with that assumption at this point. Rather, check SLAL's requirements, check JContainer compatibility with your SKSE version. Just because you have the newest JContainers doesn't mean it's compatible with your current setup.

Slal dosent seem to especify what version of JContainers is needed
Just Don't Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 The version you need depends on your game/SKSE versions, nothing to do with SLAL. If you check the file information in the Jcontainers modpage you'll see the following: This details which SKSE versions (ex. 2.0.19 or 2.0.20) and game version (your SkyrimSE.exe product version, 1.5.97 in this case) are compatible with this particular file. If you use the incorrect one JContainers won't work as intended and any mods relying on JContainers won't work either. In the main files there is a version for 1.5.97 and 1.6.353. There is a pre-release linked in a pinned comment in the JC modpage for later versions. The same applies for every mod with a dll, you need to match the skse and game version with yours or your mods won't work.
