Is it ok to use new release animation mod with old version WickedWhims?

Because I heavy depend on some mod, but they didn't update after the high school DLC patch, so I still didn't update my game.

I want to ask is it ok to use new release animation mod with old version WickedWhims? Does it cause problems?
I think my ww version is newest before the high school patch release.
