Game was working fine 2 nights ago then I moved and

Computer seems fine.

Packed it in like 15 layers of bubble wrap and bought a new suitcase just for it.

Arrived here undamaged.

Has been working fine all day.

but now when I click on script extender it wont start the game at all.

 

Just a quick flash of a black Square then nothing.

I tried to open it via steam ( even though I am pretty sure the mods would not work that way right?)

But even trying to open it via steam I got the same flash of black square then nothing.

 

What should I do?

 

Should I a) disable all mods, unistall game,

redownload a fresh copy of the game and then enable all mods?

b) Is there anything I can look for that might have gotten corupeted?

I have a spare copy of the game on my hard drive which is almost pristine so I could section by section try overwrite?

 Nothing.

Literally had it on. was running fine.

 

Moved the computer. tried to turn on the game.

it refuses to start up.

 

I had this problem before but I forgot what I did to fix it.

but back then it was unrelated to a move.

I think I pulled out the few files that were changed in my backup copy.

I am thinking about overwriting the game with them.

 

Thoughts?

or would it be better to reinstall from steam?

 

If there is another solution I would like to try it but i have a fast connection and can reinstall a fresh copy in less than half hour.

So I disabled/enabled F4se and then restarted.

NO luck

Then I unistalled F4Se and reinstalled from a previous download.

Game still will not start up- on F4Se

I gave up and am installing a new game from Steam.

fixed via uninstall/ deleting the remaing  folder then reinstall.
