Morvin Posted October 10, 2022 Posted October 10, 2022 Almost afraid to ask: Will the "naughty" mods work with the GOG version? And what version would I get if I purchase it (in the future when the price isn't the one from its original release)? It's not worth 50$ anymore - ffs, it's 10$ worth after all that time!

SKSE (2.2.3) works fine, as does AddressLibrary. SexLabUtil.dll from 1.65 still fails to load. Might need an update, or it's caused by one of the dependencies.

No because the only and latest version on GOG is 1.6.659 This would be the last version of skyrim you would need to buy since GOG galaxy has a rollback feature.
Tinkering Solderbro Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Fall on that too, yes maybe the GOG is DRM free and can be reverted.... in real the downgrade patcher from Nexus only works with a Steam version. So tried to install the SKSE for 1.6.659 what was okay, but there is nothing else than a startscreen with music and you can press X, nothing else on it. Will be a loooong way until 1.6.659 can be used in any way to mod a tiny bit on it. Will revert to the Steam version and patch it down again. TG the LE version is there and noone touched it since microsoft bought bethesda. Payed twice for same shit.....
MadMansGun Posted January 16, 2023 Author Posted January 16, 2023 you have to do some digging for some mods but most SL based mods are working in GOG.
