unanimoose Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 posting here because I use SOS SE (with the SOS AE dll). I previously tried SOS SE Light and had this issue. this seems to happen within a certain amount of time after visiting Bathing Beauties Luxury Suite (BBLS). Within maybe 10 minutes of playing after that. Although that could be coincidence because I've had the same way of starting a new game lately. Suddenly my torso/chest armor is unequipped. Whenever I try to equip the chest armor (there is split-second notification from another mod that armor was equipped), the chest armor immediately become unequipped again. So wearing chest armor becomes impossible. This time with SOS Full, at this point, there is an empty hole in my character's body where the schlong was. I've tried restarting SOS; I read that cleaning or restarting SOS would fix the nudity issue also, which is why I switched from SOS Lite to SOS Full. I had a similar issue years ago while using Bandoliers; there are 2 patch mods which fix the nudity issue, and so far I haven't had any issues. But this is baffling me. Considering I have frostfall installed, my character gets cold fast without torso armor, making the game difficult to play. TL;DR after a certain amount of time, chest/torso armor is immediately unequipped, and my character's schlong is missing. Halp.
Fiend71 Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 This is an issue with two piece armors and SOS. You see, the bottom part uses slot 52 (most often), and that's the same slot SOS uses. Typically the bottom part will unequip (is it actually unequipped, or just invisible?). Equip the top, but not the bottom. Mark it as "revealing" in SOS. Then equip the bottom. Maybe "clean schlongified armors" first... That might help.
unanimoose Posted September 22, 2022 Author Posted September 22, 2022 Thing is that I'm not really using two piece armors as far as I know? I'm using armors found on nexus that are one piece. I can wear a one piece armor for a while then the armor unequips. The armor is actually unequipped as far as I know (shows as not equipped in inventory). And I don't think I can mark the armor as revealing in SOS because the armor isn't equipped? I tried cleaning schlongified armors already, but there weren't any listed. I'll try your suggestions tomorrow, but right now my player character is still wearing one piece armor afaik.
Fiend71 Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Ok sorry. That's just a common thing..lol That I don't know. Going from your first post though, It sounds like an SOS thing. Missing textures isn't right. Do you have the correct version? That's also pretty common. SOS SE (just making sure) After that, dunno...lol
traison Posted September 22, 2022 Posted September 22, 2022 Doesn't matter how many parts an outfit is made of, any outfit can occupy multiple slots. You'd have to inspect the outfit nif, as well as its ARMA and ARMO records to get the list of slots it occupies. In theory they should be the same in all 3 but currently I do not know why there is 3 separate slot lists.
