Inconsistent Actor Placements in Animations.

Hello,  I hope you are having a good day. 

 

  (Short Version)      I have been having issues with actors being placed in the wrong positions for sexlab animations. (Boy in girls spot and girl in boy's spot). 

 

 

(Long version) I have been having issues with my PC and occasionally NPCs being placed in the incorrect positions for Sexlab animations. This seems to be the most prevalent when I change my Sexlab gender to male (I play as a girl with PP) and my partner is set to be a female in sexlab. (same sex pairings don't seem to have the issue.)  However this can still occur when I am playing as a male and my sexlab is set to male and partner is female.  Attached below is a table of the results when I was using SLEN dialogue. Not a perfect test but an easy one to do. I also use paradise halls often and that on is more consistent but takes longer to test and can play a wider variety of animations when using it. In short if you have a female slave and are set to male, you will be pegged.  (Unless you tell them "wear this strapon and lay there" then you will fuck them)

 

 

Why I am asking on this thread and not just looking at the other threads with the same issue.

 

When I was researching this issue on my own the answer I saw most often was. " It is the mod's fault because Sexlab does set actors positions for animations."  I have 2 big issues with this, I am having this issue with every mod I have tried. So it must mean every mod is messed up. I am still willing to believe that a mod is causing it but I really doubt it given the circumstances. Also one of the options in SexLab's MCM (See attached screen grab) says that it puts the actors into the positions for the animations.  (Turning this feature off fixes it sometimes but causes others and I will explain why I am looking for a better solution.) The Other common answer was "Press + and that swaps the actors and fixes your issue"  this "works" but I will talk about why I don't like it and the issues this solution does not fix. 

 

 

Why I don't think it is just a bad mod. 

This is happening with every single mod I have tried. All of them have the issue. If my male is supposed to fuck a female then the roles are reversed. It is too consistent across multiple mods for me to go "ah that mod is bad" and move on.  Turning off the setting in sexlab that "automatically filter and set the right gender position for the actors involved in the animations" Fixes just about all instances of this. (NPC on NPC interactions I can not reliably test Jarl Balgruuf might just like to be pegged I don't know) so that is the short reason on why I don't think it is just a bad mod. 

 

 

Why I don't just disable the sorting. 

 

Small and petty reason. you get some strange animations, and don't get to have the ones that are most appropriate as often. 

if you disabled that option you will quite often get two guy rubbing their imaginary vaginas together (more often then you get MM animations on female couples, don't know if that is a thing or just a happenstance) you get girls stroking their air dicks.  This is the Best "SoLuTiOn" but it is like putting on headphones to "fix" the loud grinding your engine is making. Problem is still there I am just ignoring it.

Why I don't want to just use + 

 

This does not fix integration mods I use (Soul Gem Oven). That is the main reason. I would be lying if I said I wasn't annoyed about having to hit + every time. This also has the same feel as the solution above. I still have the issue I am just ignoring it. 

 

 

What have I tried already. 

 

New Save 

Clean install on the same drive. 

Clean install on a new Drive.  

CLean install on a new PC.  (even made sure that my game save did not transfer over incase that was causing it) 

Changing all the tags, PC and NPC genders so that anyone with PP was female and without PP was male. (Those set to female were the ones trying to use PP so swapping everything around made since this worked until I changed cells.) 

 

I am out of Ideas for solutions.  attached is my logs and a table showing what I mean with this issue. ( I am a visual person so it helps  me to explain) my Current modlist (it is barebones because I was testing if it was just a mod causing this)

If you have any ideas on what is causing this or have a better solution please let me know.

In case It wasn't clear "install on new PC" was I put this on a whole other computer.
