Ryanhabs Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 It is most certainly a mod in the wrong load position. Use Boss to get an idea of how the mods should be positioned in your load order, also use obmm or wrye to check for mod conflicts.

EvenstarGW Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 CTD before main menu usually means you have missing masters. By far the easiest way to diagnose this is to use Wrye Bash. It will mark any mod that has missing master files in red. Make sure you have all the masters for any such mod and that they are loaded before the file that requires them. If there is a mod with a huge list of masters, it is usually a filter mod which is not meant to be activated, but instead bashed into the bashed patch with Wrye Bash. In your case, that's quite a massive load list. BOSS (better oblivion sorting software) is probably your best bet to get at least some order into it. You'll probably still have to manually order a lot of items it doesn't recognise. One massive problem I see is that Oblivion.esm is not in first position. That will cause any game to break. Also, not sure what this realistic force mod does, but are you sure you should be running all three of those?
beck11 Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 Oblivion mod limit count am cry. Holy hell at that mod list. But just to reiterate what Evenstar said, its most likely a missing master. Almost all my immediate CTDs after loading the game were caused by missing masters.

Well here are the steps to get you back working: 1. Disable ALL lovers mods (esm's and esp's). 2. Download BOSS from the nexus and run it. 3. Try to run oblivion with lovers stuff still disabled and after boss has sorted your load order. If it starts then you can start installing lovers stuff. Move all your lovers esp's to the bottom of your load order and sort them per the txt file at the bottom of the 1st post per the FAQ: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=3 If you still have questions or problems holler. Lastly you really should look at getting wrye bash. You have far too many mods to ever really get a stable game without a bashed patch.
