copy armor hair in hairstyle

Hey everyone, I was wondering if it was possible to take the hair in this mod, that is a helmet and port it as a hairstyle maybe swapping model and textures with hairstyles from another mod

in mod organizer I saw that there are a lot of nif files with the xml file for collisions, i just don't know where to put what, and if it's possible to even do that

 Certainly possible, as proper SMP haris, not wigs, exist. With that said those seem to consist of multitude of extra parts, each containing a single bone chain.

So nowhere near easy, in fact it looks like a massive hassle. Take a look how something like SMP KS Hairdos is set up.
