deathtome1998 Posted August 27, 2022 Posted August 27, 2022 I tried using DAR without realizing there was a hardcoded animation limit in it, and after trying the few fixes I've found on nexus mods to circumvent that, I decided since nothing was fixing the t-posing I was having with DAR installed that I would uninstall it. so after uninstalling DAR and either changing anything that could be changed to work without DAR but still basically be the same mod, such as double beds for spooning. or just outright uninstalling the ones that absolutely required DAR. I went and ran fnis and then loaded my game only to find the t-posing still persisted in my game. now I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling skyrim ae, re-running fnis multiple different times, looking everywhere I can think of to find a potential solution, and reinstalling some of my mods that had animations that didn't rely on DAR. I've posted about this in the DAR thread but it seems that people there either aren't very helpful or at least very quick to be. I have absolutely no idea why my pc would still be t-posing if the offending mod has been removed, so any help would be greatly appreciated. in case it matters I'm on mo2 for my mod manager, and when I look through the folders mo2 makes for its mods I can't find any leftover files from DAR, so I don't think that's the issue. anyways thanks in advance to whoever has any idea as to what to do.
Just Don't Posted August 27, 2022 Posted August 27, 2022 (edited) The animation limit for DAR can be removed with an edited dll (if you're on 1.5.97) or with the ini file that comes with later versions (for 1.6+). Going above the DAR limit does not cause T-pose, you get a message stating your current animations/maximum animations and upon accepting the message you exit the game/save. This happens until your current animations are less than the maximum animations (defined by the edited dll or the amount you set in the ini). So you likely failed to apply the proper fix for your version of DAR (if you say you're on AE you should be editing the ini file, not getting edited dll files). And your T-pose is not caused by the DAR limit. You're likely keeping incompatible animations from other mods, run Nemesis or FNIS and check for any warnings about incompatible hkx files.
