Question about 3BBB bones and CBPC for Custom Body

Hi all,

so I wana use 3BBB and CBPC - Physics with Collisions on my custom Body that was converted from DAZ for personal use. I didnt experiment with 3BBB bones yet, I only alway copied the vanilla bones to my body.

I installed CBPC, a premade config for BHUNP and ran FNIS.

I then opened OS, copied the weights to my custom body off BHUNP, as i would do with the vanilla ones, and loaded into game.

Now got the problem though, that although physics and collision seem to work its not at all accurate.

When I use OSEX for example, my partners penis always seems to be in a wrong spot lol (doesnt look like it really goes inside but rather above or below it) plus the animation on the vagina of my character looks rather strange too (ît doesnt look like the vagina is opening and closing but the mesh seems to be sticking together in some spots while opening and closing in a werid way)

Can somebody help to resolve these issues?

Why is the penis in such a wrong spot always? Is it a weight paint or skeleton issue or do i have to edit the CBPC confic somehow?

Why is the vagina mesh opening in such a weird way?

pics show how it looks, Dont mind the purple, i didnt put any textures on yet lol

1) Is the vagina in the same place as it is for the BHUNP body? Because OSex and OpenSex are designed for that position.

2) Copying bone weights from a body of a different shape might lead to inaccurate results. The more the two are alike the better the result.

3) The BHUNP body mesh has a hole inside the vagina and an extra mesh for the canal. If your custom body doesn't have that you will not be able to look far into it.

4) The CBPC bones for the penis are affected by gravity, which cannot be accounted for in Blender/3DS Max, so I don't know how well OSex takes that into account. OpenSex tries to account for that, but only for the default gravity settings. Are you experiencing the same result with OpenSex animations?

5) Sex animations are precision work and OSex/OpenSex are optimized for the BHUNP body and might not work that well with custom bodies. Does your custom body have anything you cannot recreate with a BHUNP slider set? The latter might work much better.

If you copy bones to a body-mesh, which are originally made for a skyrim-skeleton (and which are btw. not compatible on a daz-body....lot of things are different), you run from one problem into a next one.

You can only load your body into the Bodyslide-Software and shape it to the form of the common skyrim-one, maybe that is helping.

But from my point of view doesn ´t that make sense, as the technology of body-creation and shaping inside of SKYRIM SE is perfectly well:

You can for example easily edit a shape of a CBBE-3BBB (Caliente) body by loading a model of DAZ into your Bodyslide-Software and tune the original shape to a custom one. MUCH more easier and full support of all features afterwards: BS, RM and skin-compatible with a lot of existing assets and tools/stuff.

What you made there with your body of DAZ I did also in the past with a fully custom one which I made fully inside of 3dsmax, but a full integration into all the skyrim-features with a custom body is a time-waster and not necessary, how mentioned above.

If you want to know how to create shapes from different DAZ-bodies to be working inside of 3dsmax and how to make them compatible with bodyslide to become loadable for shape-work inside of BS, let me know. Anyway has a GAME always more demandings for skeleton, skin and physical functionality, compared with a POSE-BODY, which is fact if we talk about DAZ.

Hi and thanks for answering.

I am not saying that the already present bodies are bad, but i for myself am not at fan of CBBE 3BBB or BHUNPs intimate area or the chunky hands, so i wanted to bring my own custom body into my game. Mine has a more detailed intimate area and nice feminine hands with modeled nails.

And my problem is not how to integrate my DAZ Body into Skyrim though.

I was shown how to export the body correctly from DAZ, how to copy bone weights, how to save textures in Blender and how to put the body onto a character or create a custom race.

I also know how to make sliders from the DAZ body and integrate them into Bodyslide, just need to export different shapes from DAZ and make them into a slider.

My only problem is that the 3BBB collisions look off, nothing else.

....yes thats the mod i already activated, but the collision is not precise as i wrote

...."I followed the instructions to the word, I have all the requirements, ran FNIS/Nemesis... It still doesn't work, no bounce, no collisions. I need help.

You probably missed a step, or did something wrong, so let's go over it again together:

  • You need a physics compatible body. This means that you need a body that have working Breast-Butt-Belly-Vagina nodes. I'll list some of them for you so you can choose. Some of these have no prebuilt bodies available and will require you to build a body using Bodyslide Studio:
  1. CBBE SE Physics body -> Requires Bodyslide build. Only has Breast-Butt nodes.
  2. CBBE SE Special body -> Requires Bodyslide build. Only has Breast-Butt-Vagina nodes.
  3. UNP or UNPB -> Has prebuilt bodies and prebuilt armors and clothes. Has Breast-Butt-Belly nodes.
  4. CBBE 3BBB or BHUNP -> Requires Bodyslide build. Has Breast, Belly, Butt, Thigh, Calf, Vagina nodes.
  5. Oldrim CosioHD (Uses CBBE Textures)-> Requires Bodyslide build. Has Breast-Butt-Belly-Vagina nodes.
  6. Oldrim CBBE Special Body -> Requires Bodyslide build. Has Breast-Butt-Belly-Vagina nodes.
  7. Oldrim UUNP(Unified UNP) body-> Requires Bodyslide build. Has Breast-Butt-Belly-Vagina nodes.

For those of you asking, no vanilla bodies and armors cannot support physics. They don't have the required nodes. So you need one of the bodies I listed, or any other body that has the required bones.

  • You need XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended - XPMSSE. This is very important. Choose Physics skeleton type when you are installing. And don't let anything overwrite its files. Realistic Ragdolls and Force is not compatible(Skeleton files), so if you have that uninstall it(or delete the skeleton files manually). It overwrites its skeletons.

I don't use it myself but if you are using Vortex, be extra sure nothing is overwriting XP32 Skeleton you installed from the conflicting mods menu.

  • You need to run FNIS/Nemesis now. Run GenerateFNISForUsers and make sure you select skeleton arm fix/Or Nemesis equivalent.
  • You need SKSE64 or SKSEVR depending on your game. Make sure you run the game with skse64_loader.exe or sksevr_loader.exe

These are the main steps required. Depending on your preferred mod manager, it may vary in process. This guide just assumes you know how to use your mod manager.

SKSE plugins should be able to be installed like a normal mod, but sometimes, especially if it uses a vfs like MO2, skse plugins may end up not being correctly loaded. So if you have problems, after installing the mod, you can move all the installed files(cbp.dll and txt files) to Data\SKSE\Plugins under game folder manually.
