problem with bodyslide and belly inflation

Hi, i'm just tired of trying to make it work, reading everything i can and all so i've decided to try asking for help.

 

My problem is, the body won't appear as it should, when i change it with bodyslide, it won't appear in game, when the belly is inflated it don't appear on clothed character and when naked it's inflated but it's somewhat flat like a crushed pregnant belly and it don't change.

 

i use MO2 after using vortex for a lot of time and i'm not really new to modding skyrim but i'm still novice asf.

i tried watching tutos of bodyslide but nothing work.

before you ask, yes i do check "build morphs" when i batch build

and i was using cbbe but just changed to 3bbb after seeing it's better

 

my first language is not english either

Skyrim treats a naked body as if it were a separate armor. If you want other armos to have inflated bellies, you have to build them that way ( or use a mod that will apply pregnancy morphs during gameplay.)

 

If the belly appears crushed in game, maybe there is some collision happening? Fir example, the belly distorts when it detects that the hands are nearby during an idle pose.

I found this interesting as well. If you have it set to NOT use the Pregnancy Belly Slider, it will use the BONE WEIGHTS. These are extremely different for CBBE, 3BA, and most other physics mods. I had to REBUILD/REPAINT the bone weight for the belly to get proper scaling. I had to learn how to do this, and it wasn't too time consuming, the only issue is whenever you update your physics mod, it reinstalls the bodies and their base bone weights as well. The above comment is still correct in that Naked, and Revealing Armor are "different armors". The best mod I have found that works with just placing armors over the body, instead of having its own body mesh is the TAWOBAE/TAWOBA armor mods, also here on LoversLab.

I can upload my version of the Bone Weights, and you will have to replace them in your folder to see if that changes anything. (It may still look weird, as I am not a pro at this and have only been messing with it for maybe 2 months at most, but I think it looks pretty nice and round for inflation specifically.)

The location to replace is here (This was a standard install with no custom location) - This is also for 3BBB body, not your standard CBBE.

I hope this might help. If it does, try messing around with the bone weights in Outfit Studio, as it automatically comes with any BodySlide Install. Its not too hard, but it can be finicky at times, and what it displays in the Outfit Studio WILL be different than the in game display. Learning how it scales in both is extremely helpful.
