Invisible body parts (I thought I understood this but here I am again)

Is there any general thing what would make ankles and wrists invisible when wearing some DD gear??

 

when my character wears DDx item body rope harness (rendered model ARMO --0486E1, which refers to ARMA --0486DF ) her wrists and ankles are both invisible. 

I thought I understood this was down to the BOD2 records and if I took out reference to ankles and wrists there it would fix it, but I dont see a reference to those there.

 

Is there some other place I could look to find why those body parts go invisible. This might be affecting other items too, I had an npc which invis wrists and ankles when wearing a certain dress even though I thought I cleared the records.
