Looking to mass remove MGEF from NPCs

Pretty self explanatory, updated a mod (yeah, classic mistake) to get myself into a spot of bother.

Long story short i need to remove a specific MGEF from every single male actor i encounter. Not spell, wich is at least doable via console, MGEF. Only thing that comes to mind is adding "Dispel with keyword" flag to original effect, and then distributing a new spell with said keyword to every single male actor. Wich relies on A - me understanding correctly how said flag works, and B - leaves me with another unwanted effect cluttering the game.

So, how would go about it, if i knew what i was doing?

As far as I can remember the keyword thing is indeed the only way to remove mgefs, however it doesn't have to be permanent. A simple heal spell with 0 magnitude and the correct keyword should work. Maybe SPID can help with the distribution?

Magic effects aren't permanent anyway. Once the actor is unloaded the active effects are unloaded too (Maintaining magic effects on Npcs actually takes effort). You can see this yourself if you select an Npc with the console and view the active effects. Leave them there and travel around. Once they begin to be unloaded the active effects should disappear in their listed active effects.

If not or the effect comes back when they are reloaded then something is maintaining the effect on the npc, maybe a race spell effect or perk.

Thats a disappointing, but usefull information.

Given that i dont know what maintains it, removing it would be bandaid at best. Whelp, another save bites the dust =-/ Ill learn one day thou.
