massivemtballs Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 Ā I am having troubleĀ with wickedĀ whims and cannot figure out how to fix it. This is my first time ever downloading it, and I followed all instructionsĀ on the website. I play on my 2020 Macbook Air, with the most updated version of the sims 4. I have mods, CC, and script mods enabled in my settings, and I know I've put the mod in the right folder. When I launch the game, it tells me I have it downloaded and shows up in either script mods or CC. My sims can be nude, and I have items like the condoms and birth control. But I can't use said items even when in inventoryĀ and I have absolutely no wicked options. I removed my CC from my mods folder to see if that wouldĀ work, it didn't. I have restarted my game multiple times and redownloaded the mod multiple times as well. I've even tried downloading the July 2022 version, but I currently have the August version downloaded. I have things like the wall sex indicator in build mode, but it doesn't disappear in live mode and I have no wicked options for my sims to even do anything there. Ā Do you know what could be going on?Ā Ā Thank you
Crashdown117 Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 Sounds like the script is not properly read by the game, probably because the file is buried too deep within subfolders. For script mods like WW, the general rule is to put the filesĀ (both .ts4script and .package extensions) either directly into your Mods folder (which will lead to an ever growing mess) or into a sub-folder within Mods (which helps with keeping everything organized), but no more than one level of sub-folders deep. In other words, something like "Mods/WickedWhims" will work, whereas something like "Mods/Sex/WickedWhims" will not. You probably ended up with an additional level of sub-folders, when you extracted the contents of the dowloaded .zip file. Normally, the .zip contains a folder called "WickedWhimsMod", which you can copy straight into your Mods folder.
