Question about Clothed SMP Physics

Does anyone know if SMP allows for clothed collisions? For ex. hands colliding with breasts while wearing a top(slot 32). I added collision armor to the main body of 3BA so I could have full SMP without needing to use the plugin to toggle between cbpc/smp(I don't use cbpc physics for bodies so having to switch between the two is annoying) and everything is working fine while nude but collisions stop working when clothed(everything still jiggles though). Specifically wearing clothing pieces that takes up the main body slots - body, hands, and feet. It seems some of the active collision meshes disables when those slots are taken up, but unequipping them re-enables the collision meshes. So I'm wondering if anyone else has smp collisions while clothed, or if SMP just doesn't/can't handle clothed collisions like CBPC?

I've tried giving the collision armor different partitions in OutfitStudio with no luck it seems.

I'm not sure, (ie, I have no idea and don't think I ever thought about it before), but I'd think it *should IFF the reference body for the armor includes SMP handlers.

In my opinion, physics setups for skyrim have always been messy. Everyone has their own way of doing things, and in the end no system is compatible with the other. I got rid of the 3BA collision armor and built my physics setup from the ground up. Ended up switching to CBPC for everything except for certain outfit bits that use SMP (meaning I use both at the same time).

 

To answer your question though, yes you can have SMP collision when wearing clothes. Is there a pre-made setup that does this? I do not know. I would assume there is, but like I said, it's a mess.
