3BA SMP Collision not working

Hello,

I have been trying to get SMP collision working with my 3BA body, and I'm not sure why it won't. I tried installing the wbody tester from this thread: 

 and putting it at the bottom of my load order, the collisions worked! However, it overwrites all the files I made in bodyslide, which means I can't zero the sliders for use with OBody, or use the body I like. It's also 3BBB, not 3BA. The only things it's overwriting, though, are the meshes for the naked body and the collision armor. Anyone have any idea why this could be happening or what I can do to fix it?

Why don't you try building your own body sets with zeroed sliders instead of using these prebuilt files? The exact sets you need to select and build are detailed in the 3ba mod page.

This was the first thing I did, and is what didn't work. The prebuilt files from that 3BBB test mod worked, but nothing from 3BA has worked.

Maybe you forgot to build this?

 

Every once and a while collision stops working for me and I have to either use 'showracemenu' or 'smp reset' console commands to reset my body's physics. That is probably from some obscure mod conflict?

No, I remembered to do this. And collision with SMP wasn't working for me using 3BA at any point, only with the 3BBB test file. The XML files are the ones that came with 3BA, too. I have no idea why this is happening.

UPDATE: I managed to get the collisions from the character with herself working by switching from SMP to CBPC, then running "smp reset" and switching back. However, the collision broke again as soon as CBPC turned back on, which is why I didn't notice the first time I did it. Also, I still don't have any collisions with other characters... but I'm assuming that's an issue with THOSE mods? I don't mind keeping SMP on all the time, but I'd like to know why this is happening and if there's a way to fix it, as it is pretty annoying. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate it hugely!

Ditch sinful cbp if you're using that and try different settings in the 3ba installer. A lot has changed since that thread was made (or sinful cbp was last updated). You should start with the premade config files from 3ba and then tweak them to fit your system specs (there are some resources for this in the 3ba description or some github pages for cbpc or smp forks, like faster hdt smp).

I'm not following the guide that was linked there, I was just using the files to test my setup. My current load order wrt body/physics/skeleton mods is


Faster HDT-SMP
CBPC - CBP Physics with Collisions
CBPC 3-Bone Breast Body
SoS Lite
CBBE
CBBE 3BA
HIMBO
HIMBO Lite SE
Realore Men's SoS Lite
XPMSSE
XPMSSE fixed scripts
XPMSSE left hand skeleton fix
better female wrists hands ankles and leg ratio twists for XPMSSE

UPDATE: I finally managed to fix this problem, and it turned out to be the version of Faster HDT-SMP that I was using. Apparently, it was incompatible to some degree with my CPU architecture. Reinstalling it and trying different options in the installer eventually got it working. My CPU supports AVX2, which is what I clicked in the installer before, but apparently that DLL didn't like my setup or something. Changing to the regular AVX version fixed all of my issues, although I still have to do "smp reset" every time the game starts. But at least things are working now!
