deleted wicked whims to update but still getting "delete old wicked whims file"

i've deleted everything wicked whims i have on my computer but everytime i try to download it again I keep getting the same "delete old wicked whims" in the file I dont know what is wrong but i need help

You mean that additional file called "delete old WW files" (or sth like that) from the downloaded .zip? That's just a reminder, like some of us around here constantly telling people to delete "localthumbcache.package" after any changes have been made to the game or installed mods.

If you have already deleted the old files, simply put the new ones in (remember to delete "localthumbcache.package" ?) and play the game.

YOU ARE A LIFESAVER OMG!!!! i redownloaded it and still got the same message but i had deleted "localthumbcache.package" and the "delete old wicked whims" message and it worked!!!! i was starting to get worried for a while.
