BasicallyBasic Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 I'm wondering if there exists or is possible to make a mod that changes a creature's hostility state toward the player after the player has had sex with them. Say you use the Calm spell on a wolf, use a mod like Aroused Creatures to have sex with the wolf while Calm lasts, and then afterward the wolf is pacified for a long period of time instead of immediately going back to being aggressive/hostile when the Calm spell ends. I am aware of Untamed and Beastess, and that at least Untamed has some form of effect like this, since you can recruit creatures as followers after having sex with them, but that's not really the kind of gameplay I'm after. I'm more after just being able to pass by creatures by pacifying them, not recruiting them. Beastess and Untamed are simply a bit too feature heavy for this. Alternatively to a mod doing this on it's own, could a command file be made to do this with SL Triggers?
karlpaws Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Is Triggers the SE version of SL Util? Even out of date, Util was working for me for that sort of thing. You could apply a calm effect on anything you had sex with for up to 24 hours game time but it would only last while you were in the cell or otherwise nearby.
Geovanas Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 what is the mod to have sex with a wolf and the animations ?

Sounds exactly like what I'm looking for then. Do you know how I would set that up? I have no idea how to write up commands for SL Util or SL Triggers, I understand the UI in SL Triggers, but it needs a command file I'm pretty sure to make it actually do something and that's the part I don't know how to do.
karlpaws Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Util has a calm effect that it comes with, so all you would need to do is select it in the dropdown box.

Oh that's very convenient! Looking around I'm having no luck finding SL Util... Is it SUM that you meant? (Skyrim Utility Mod) If not, would you mind linking me to SL Util? Thank you for your responses so far. It's been really helpful. Edit: I found Util, but in the SE Compatibility Tracking it says it doesn't work for SE and to just use SL Triggers instead, and that's a bummer. Cus I've now tried SL Triggers and the command for Calm that that has is just to cast the spell, which isn't exactly reliable cus it actually just casts the spell and doesn't apply a Calm effect automatically. (At least from my testing so far) Edited August 15, 2022 by BasicallyBasic
karlpaws Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 Sounds like that's a question for the Triggers support thread. It is possible that the mechanics have changed and it uses a cast spell instead of applying a spell effect (which I would think is a step down) but there might be a way to change that. From what I remember, Triggers was supposed to be more flexible than Util was, if its the one I think.

4ubaka2008 Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 Hello, I really like the idea of that mod what BasicallyBasic looking for. So, did anyone find something similar witch working for LE or SE? Thanks!

A little searching would have found them.

Thanks for links, I'm sorry i never heard anything about triggers and scripts before, just sometimes using some mods, that all I never did get this kind of functionality to work with SL Triggers in SE/AE, due to what I mentioned in previous posts that the trigger just casts the Calm spell, which means it casts it in the direction you're looking and thereby not guaranteeing it hits. So I feel for the functionality of something like this to work there'd need to be a separate mod made to fill that niche functionality. So maybe SL Triggers isn't what you're looking for if you're on SE. But if you're on LE IIRC SexLabUtil might actually do what you're looking for, but I don't know.
karlpaws Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 Triggers might handle Calm differently than Util did. On LE it adds a calm effect and does not cast the spell, which could be resisted. The effect did not remain after you left the cell so when you came back the NPC would attack you. For some reason I do somewhat remember another comment / posting from someone making the point that whatever was under discussion was a cast spell vs applied effect issue as well. Not sure if that was Triggers or something else.
