My teenage sim girl won't get her period

I play a single sim household: Teenage girl, ageing off. And she won't get her period or any PMS symptoms. The menstrual cycle is working, everyday the Period Tracker app tells me how many day etc and it's always counting. But on the day of her period: Nothing. No message that her first period will start soon and on the Info Message from WW sill: "Had First Period: False". I suppose it hat something to do with the trait/buff(?) "blood flow type" or "is suppressing blood".

Teenage Sims have been re-contextualized as prepubescent with the latest game DLC. You might have to give your Sim the "Post Puberty" attribute from WW's personaization options (click on Sim > Wicked > Personalization > Wicked Attributes) - or use the IU mod to make teens "work" like adult Sims again.

I know that, but isn't first period THE SIGN for puberty? Are the menstrual cycles locked for pre puberty sims? I thought that only counts for all the sex stuff which I'm complety fine with.

IRL it would definitely be a sign, but the "problem" has always been that the game only offers one type of teens - so you need some kind of general decision (allow teens or not) or a workaround (e.g. attributes/traits) when it comes to mods. Personally, I have always been a little bothered by the fact that the game treats 12-year-olds and almost mature Sims basically the same way, so I made sure they all look like they are at least 16 (otherwise, the vanilla "Mess Around" interaction would just raise too many questions).

Regarding your issue, you probably need to give them the "Post Puberty" attribute if you want them to get their period, but that attribute doesn't work properly for me (I guess that's because I don't have the new High School Years pack), so I couldn't try it out and instead went for the IU mod (all of my teen Sims would be fully grown adults anyway, considering the number of winters they have seen). All that I know for sure is that teens are now presented as immature and underage by the game, and that WW treats them accordingly.
