doors not working??

so i just downloaded the next update of wicked whims ( the early august one) and now the games refuses to let me place doors AND it's taken away any preexisting doors when the mod is on. I've redone the installation and restarted the game but it's just not working. I'm pretty sure it's a script issues but i was curious if anyone else had this issue/knew how to fix it

I had the same problem. Took down Basemental Drugs and Nisa's WIcked perversions - that helped me.

Try running the game with only WW in your Mods folder and remember to always delete "localthumbcache.package", found in "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4", whenever you make any changes to your mods or the game itself. Without any other mods interfering, everything should work fine. If it doesn't, repair your game via Origin/Steam and try again.

 

To identify any mod causing issues, the quickest and most reliable way (at least in my experience) is the 50/50 method. A quick rundown can be found here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/finding-broken-4-23751034

Make sure that all of your mods and your game are updated to their respective latest version, before you sink your time into this, though.

 

Also, since we're talking about doors: Do you use Basemental Drugs and if you do, when did you last update it? BMD has both a reputation of breaking doors following major game patches and occassionally does so intentionally as an April Fools' joke.
