Occasionally, the game turns into a slideshow and only a full reboot helps. This usually happens when approaching large cities (Whiterun, Solitude), but there is one place where this happens strictly necessarily - when leaving the crypt in Ivarsted. Moreover, if you go counterclockwise, everything will be fine, but if clockwise, then just before the exit everything will happen. What can this be related to?

There's a bug at origin that sometimes produces an island of floating crap. I've notice major sluggishness near Whiterun when this happens. No idea regarding Solitude. Never really had issues there. Just outside Whiterun going ?west? towards the giant's camp @0,0,0. When it happens I fast travel far away to avoid what usually ends with a freeze or CTD

remove all earrings, wigs, clothing and which one is the culprit.

An interesting thought. True, I did not put earrings and hairstyles, and only vanilla replicers from clothes, but nevertheless ... I thought, and turned off this Faster HDT-SMP altogether. Let's see what happens.

By the way, about video memory - 8GB should be enough with a large margin, and the task manager does not show any overloading when hanging. But the crooked scripts are all this shaking, they are probably capable of this.

fwiw, I use a 1060SC 6G card. Game runs just fine in ultra mode with somewhere between 350-450 mods - I think I'm running about 350 active plugins right now so maybe 400-420 mods in all - with rare exceptions when SKSE goes south, or script lag rears its head (too many back-to-back animations sequences or spending too much time outside in certain areas like west of Whiterun towards Rorikstead), or some other problem starts to heavily degrade the game... and occasionally just after installing a new mod. Those mods usually get uninstalled with haste, as I don't like playing FixxGame Plus!)

Point being, 8G VRAM *should be fine.
