CTD when entering a city

I tried to solve this problem on my own, obviously without success.

 

Mostly everything works fine, except the "small" problem that everytime I try to enter a city there is a CTD during the loadscreen; this occurs in each one and in every imperal district. Trying to enter without any mods activated still causes the CTD, strangely.

 

Here is my loadorder, of course with BOSS runned over it before copied:

Your lovers load order is a train wreck.  Please see the recommended load order in the spoiler here: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/4487-please-read-before-posting-here/

 

These two plugins require you to have MBP 1.4a AND MBP++ v98a:

LoversImmoralGuards.esp
LoversImmoralSisters.esp

And they will cause a CTD if you don't.  If you did have both MBP plugins installed you would have double the esp files that you currently do.

I fixed the mess with the lovers-plugins already, even before you mentioned it (probably should had updated it here, too).

 

If those two plugins are causing the problem, wouldn't that also mean the problem is no more when they both are deactivated*?

 

*(which it isn't, since I already tried without plugins)

Did you start a new game?  If you are loading an existing save then the data causing the crash is still there.  Additionally all of the Tamago plugins require both MBP 1.4a and MBP++ v98a so your kinda up the creek there as well.

Yes, I started a new one; I try to reinstall both MBP 1.4a and MBP++ v98a again; probably I just missed to activate the esp(s) of MBP++, since I am sure I already got it.

You should end up with 12 or so esp files if both MBP's are installed. 

 

After reinstalling I recommend you disable all Lovers\Tamago plugins then start a new game and see if you can enter the IC without crashing.  If so then you know it was the lovers plugins.  If you still crash then we need to look at your non lovers plugins.

Yeah Gregathit is right the fastest way to find the culprit is disabling mods. First disable all the mods except oblivion.esm, then enable half of them and see if it makes difference, if you succeed then again enable half of the rest of them (or if you fail disable half of the enabled plugins), and so on.

Nothing has changed after reinstalling both MBP's, even when starting a new game without anything but Oblivion.esm it still crashes when entering a city. I quess Oblivion needs to be reinstalled itself, won't get past it.

 

EDIT:

Since I reinstalled Oblivion now, it works. Consider this solved.
