I had the same thing. It is already in the original beta, the fork does not touch it, to my knowledge. From my limited testing, it happens, when you let scanner be active permanent ( in my opinion , let it run permanent, was the design intent). If you do that (let  it run the whole time), it tends to "crash".

 

Solution for "not crashing": Activate the scanner, get the info and deactivate it again. Do not let it run permanently.

 

The only solution i found for "crashed" scanner, is to deactivate SGO4, make a clean save (FalrimTools), then install the mod again.

 

Let me know, if some of you had different experiences and/or solutions.

Thank you for this fork!! 

Two questions -- can anyone confirm that Gem Leveling is working as intended? I set the weight modifier to 100% each additional gem but it doesn't appear like the cap is increasing?

 

Two - would it be possible for the pregweight delay to be 0 (aka instant)? I know that sounds weird from an immersion standpoint but I'm using this fork differently.

OR alternately could more than one slider be tied to Gem progression instead of Pregweight?

I posted about this on SGO4 support page but it's more relevant here:

 

This mod (version 1.6.1) breaks the gem birthing (as inserted gem level will not increase), if gem leveling is turned on, which it is by default. This stays true even when using debug options to get "pregnant". SGO4 works normal without the fork.

 

When gem leveling is turned off, the gem type will go up all the way to the black soul gem as intended. When thinking about gem leveling system it makes no sense (to me at least) that in the beginning I only get petty gems from inserting any other gems (yes the value will decrease). I'm pretty sure it's a bug. If not, it's a horrible feature. I didn't bother to try other options.

Hi there I have come across a odd situation with the milking animation. It used to work fine and then stopped but only for the main character. I can command NPC to milk and it runs.

 

I went through papyrus and found these

Found the issue Seems character is being forcefully controlled by Horrible Harassments which is blocking the animations playing

So nice to see this mod continue in SE! I'm using this mod together with pahe and Diary of Mine and I notice some problems with the actor tracking each time I load the game. It seems that in the databank in MCM the pregnant NPC in pahe and DoM last time will not be tracked any more in the loaded game. The debug message will show "Update detected lost references, cleaning tracking list." and the pregnancy record will be removed. The names and ref ID of the NPC were recorded correctly when I saved the game. The NPCs are also not dead or removed. For NPC followers outside pahe and DoM, the databank tracks the record correctly even after I reload the game. Is there a way to solve this? Thank you!

if you interested, here some ideas:

 

several functions need a cool-down in regard of the orgasm, like create milk, advance gems, milk the milk on orgasm. Using SLSO and getting an multi-orgasm can empty the boobs just in one multi-orgasm. A gang-bang scene can mature the gems from the smallest to fully grown in one scene. At the moment, when the char is progressing, a constant adjustment is needed, in order not to mature the gems in one session. A solution could be a cool-down of some sort. SLSO makes in case of a multi-orgasm, that the orgasm does not lower enjoyment, until all orgasms happened. Could you make it so, that milk  is milked and gem is birthed (see next idea), after orgasm and enjoyment lowered? that way you do not need a cool-down script.

 

Automatic birth of gems:

Conditions: anal scene only, if anal+ vaginal, it should not work. One gem birthed per Orgasm/multi-orgasm. Only fully mature gems are birthed. Birthed gems are, like milk just appear at the character.

Additionally, create a dialogue for starting an anal scene ("could you do it in my ass, i need help with birthing gems" or some sort of variety)

 

A question to the workings of the mod:

 

In my current game, not all male npcs have semen activated, in the mcm the option for activation is ticked. How the mod handles the activation for each npc? any ideas what could be wrong in my installation?

the only thing i can propose, is to make a clean save:

 

1) clean data in the mods MCM

2) disable the mod, clean the save with FalrimTools

3) start the save in game and  wait a couple of min., save again and quit the game.

4) enable the mod and start the last save.

 

for me the procedure works in like 90 % of the cases.

regarding downgrading, is intentional, as gem type is now decided by how many total gems you have birthed, instead of belly size.

Automatic birthing has proved difficult to implement, but its still on the list.

 

Scanner works marks newly encountered actors as "done" and will not rescan them, if an actor has already been encountered, their results will be locked in.

might be something more to this, but more testing is needed on my end.

Thanks for the reply, just curious before I try it out. Hopefully both of you have good luck sorting it out and finding a simple solution.

 

In the meantime, can that feature be disabled within your config file? TBH it's a feature I'm keen to have, but if I can disable it for now and add it into my loadout, that would work since I am about to start a new game with a ton of new updates.

 

Excellent mod, thanks and look forward to seeing it progress with time! SGO adds a ton of good kink into the game loop, anything that expands on it is most welcome!

Now fixed in 1.6.2

Should be safe to update mid game. but as usual make backup saves.

It's a bug in the that can be fixed from an edit to the save file. Turn your scanner off, then go into Resaver and search for 'dse_sgo_questgemui c403e3d5'. The leading 'c4' may only be pertinent to my game, but the rest should be static to the mod, I think. Anyway, remove that script, save, then load back in and enable your scanner.
