Devious Cidhna(Vampire side quest)

I'm not sure what the issue is, but I recently installed Devious Cidhna. After finishing the Forsworn quest I went to Halfmoon like the vampire side quest says I should, but neither of the folks there are giving me a quest. Any help would be appreciated, and I can give any info requested because I don't know what to look for

This one always works for me with Simple slavery ++, after being sold to the vampires they would put me in a cage and drink blood out of me or fuck me for each hour

So I went through my mod library to check, and I had Simple Slavery, but it wasn't ++. Also, if this is the Skyrim SE section, I fail to see how asking a question about something involving SE content here isn't the right place

AFAIR DC vampire quest was made with SS++ in mind. SS++ has a toggle for this specific quest if it detects DC, so you can get sold to them after Riften auction. It was meant as an immersive way for a low level character to contract vampirism. I've been playing with Cidhna for a long time and I never encountered this quest in any other way. Same with pirates and bandits - you need to get sold to slavery and that faction needs to be rolled as a buyer for the relevant quest to trigger.

The only standalone content of DC is the Cidhna mine itself.

Because this question should've been asked in Devious Cidhna thread. This is a technical support sub-forum and yours is not a technical support question.
