JDMMk3 Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 Hey all, Hope this is the right section to ask this question. I have these two versions of Skyrim, I was just wondering which ones I should install for the best experience with SexLab mods. For Special Edition I have the Anniversary Edition DLC upgrade. This is my first proper foray back into modding and I just wanna make sure I get everything setup correctly before hand. Thanks in advance!
Gukahn Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 Is it that time of the Month again? ? Little Joke on your expense, this Question gets ask a lot, you could fill a few Wiki Pages. The Easy answer? Look around which one of those has mods that never came for the Other Edition you find important and then chose. Both of them can work as long as you know stuff and read. You will fuck up quite a bit with Both at first. If you however choose SE; for the love of Fuck downgrade. At least my last info (I don't follow it tho) where that it still has problems with certain mods and you won't have to look around for AE Editions for older stuff like SoS either. Probably will save you at least half a Day. Again, Both versions can be GREAT, it's you who are responsible IF they will. SE might be a little easier but since I use it for 2 Years now, i might be a bit biast. 1
RohZima Posted July 30, 2022 Posted July 30, 2022 I think most stuff you will want is available for SE. Clothes can always be converted. It's really hard to say either way. I have the problem of not being able to choose so now I am maintaining both LE and SE, heavily modded installs - as well as Oblivion, Fallout 3/NV & 4... That approach can work if you can make the time to give each game the appropriate care and attention.
