Zetor_29 Posted July 29, 2022 Posted July 29, 2022 I had my WickedWhims mods on Vortex mods manager, but after the newest update obv everything broke up. When I updated my WW it was saying that the script file wasnt found error, but the file was in the wickedwhims folder when I looked it up. So I took all of my mods and moved them directly into Electronic arts/The sims 4/mods And now I got this error saying: The game was not able to load. I dont know what else to do.... And I dont wanna be reinstalling all those 700+ mods I have rn.

You do realized the last game update broke most script Mods I hope. Many of them will need updating. When the game won't load it's a critical error caused by broken Mods usually. Make sure your Vortex Mods Folder is empty first and then remove it. It helps to have all your CC & Mods organized by Category Folders or the Script Mods Name. Example: Mods/CC Body Parts Mods/CC Clothing Mods/CC Hairstyles Mods/CC Makeup Mods/MCCC Mods/WickedWhimsMod Mods/Wicked Animations etc. Once everything is organized you can then just move folders out to desktop for testing easier. Always delete your localthumbcache.pkg whenever you add, remove, or update Mods/CC or the game itself. If you also have MS OneDrive installed it can also cause problems with Sims/WW loading properly. 1
