skyrim crashing when i try to make new character

so, was playing skyrim fine like 4 days ago, went through removed a bunch of mods and was going to start anew character. after i uninstalled the mods and went back in, the game would crash as i tried to start a genuinely new character so i tried to find a save right as you get off the cart. that also crashed, for some reason my heavily modded save would work fine after i click to load it without the mods. but i still wanted a new one so i reinstalled skyrim from scratch.

 

 it all worked fine until i tried to use skse for skyui, when ever i try to load the game with skse the game crashes 100% of the time it never used to do this

i'm pretty positive i installed it correctly ( even reinstalled it following a video tutorial..) and it still crashes every time. i tried running it with only skyrim and the dlc running without skse it's fine, but even with only those 5 esm's (skyrim.esm, update.esm, dawnguard.esm, hearthfires.esm, and dragonborn.esm) active skse will still crash upon loading i don't even get to the cart ride part.

 

 

anyone have any idea why skse would always crash on me? please and thank you

Load order?

 

The only time skse won't work with Skyrim is if you are using an illegal copy. At least with my experience from it. Either that or you have installed it wrong.

Use Alternate Start and try to generate the char in this small cell if it still ctds than you have your data files messed up or something is missing, skeleton or something.

ark, the only things i'm currently loading are the vanilla esms and in the order of their release nothing else i turned skyui off to see if that was the problem and it crashed even with just vanilla, also it's a steam version if you care enough my steamid is the same as my id on here incase you want to verify. and according to the video tutorial it's all correctly installed, i'll try again though.

 

groov, i'll try that mod but i know the files work cause without skse the game seems to load just fine, just trying to load with skse causes the crashes

 

and cyn, the precache killer is a skse addon isn't it? i can't get the game to load with skse so using that would kind of be pointless :L

I have the same problem when I reboot in the character menu and then try to change from male to female, crash!
I have a female saves file found on nexus, which begins after the character menu. it is a female north, but if I want to use a different race then I press immediately after the beginning of game, the ^ key to open the console! I'll give an example to "setrace bretonrace". Then I close the console again and let the game continue to run up to the point where you cut your companion of the tie! then save, quit game, restart again, open console type "showracemenu" caracter edit, done!
notes: for because consoles command "setrace bretonrace" there is for the other races another name "imperialrace,  darkelfrace and and and"

ich habe das gleiche problem , wenn ich beim neustart im charakter-menü bin und dann versuche von männlich zu weiblich zu wechseln , absturz !
ich habe eine weibliche saves-datei auf nexus gefunden , die nach dem charakter-menü beginnt . es ist eine weibliche nord , wenn ich aber eine andere rasse verwenden möchte dann drücke ich sofort nach beginn des spieles , die ^ taste um die konsole zu öffnen ! dann gebe ich zum beispiel " setrace bretonrace " ein . dann schließe ich wieder die konsole und lasse das spiel weiter laufen , bis zu dem punkt wo dich dein begleiter von den fesseln schneidet ! dann abspeichern , spiel beenden , wieder neustarten , konsole öffnen " showracemenu " eingeben karakter bearbeiten , fertig !
anhang: für denn konsolen befehl "setrace bretonrace" gibt es für die anderen rassen eine andere bezeichnung " imperialrace , darkelfrace und und und"

ich hoffe du kannst etwas damit anfangen

alright so.. the alternate start mod doesn't fix it ( i had a feeling it wouldn't but meh had to try) i can't load any saves with the script extender running, only reason i want a solution is because i have mods i prefer not to play without. the game will load fine if i only run it from the launcher. anyone have any other ideas?

If you're going for a fully new game. then why don't uninstall/reinstall skyrim?

Sometimes, after too much buggy mods, the game core files get damaged. And, perhaps some files are still in the data folder causing problems.

And, If you're going for a new game, don't do it while running a launcher other than the vanilla one.

now, i'm not trying to be rude here but i don't think anyone even read my first post all the way lol. i already said i reinstalled skyrim, that didn't help. i'm just gonna give up for now and try again when i'm not so annoyed with the damn game. thanks everyone for at least attempting to help.

if you're playing the newly instaled and no mods, then it is perhaps most 1.9 patches? there is a possibility to have it checked over steam your game, that would be an option!

wenn du das spiel neu instaliert hast und noch keine mods , dann liegt es womöglich am patches 1.9 ? es giebt eine möglichkeit über steam dein spiel überprüfen zu lassen , daß wäre auch eine option !
