Multiple Partners

Hi,

 

I've been having an issue with romance interactions between multiple sims.  If more than two sims are present, selecting a romantic option turns the conversation 'awkward'. This also happens when sims are interacting autonomously.

 

With only MCCC and WW there are no issues doing romance socials in front of other romantic partners (as far as I can tell, but can't be certain). As soon as any animations are installed, the awkward conversation heading appears when doing a romance interaction in front of other partners. They also lose friendship and romance points. The embarrassed moodlet doesn't appear for any sims. The open relationship switch is checked, all partners have the polyamorous trait and percieve each other as attractive. It happens regardless of how full their romance and friendship bars are, the number of partners and is unaffected by relationship status. It continues permanantly once the animations are removed.

 

There is no additional CC, I removed the entire TS4 folder and repaired the base game, starting from scratch. I deleted the thumbcache file before installing mods/animations and ran the WW fixup functions. I've tried adding different animations one at a time (to a working folder) to try and identify the issue but they all seem to have the same effect. All of the animations are listed on the WW site as compatible and most have been updated during or after June 2022.  

 

Not sure if this is an issue per se, as it's been the same across the past few versions of WW. It occurs across games and households, even with global jealousy disabled. I could just be missing something really obvious, so apologize if that's the case. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think MC_Woohoo also has a Jealousy Setting if I remember correctly.

 

In any case you can always cheat and add the 'Player' Trait Reward to your played Sim.

Or you can pick the 'Serial Romantic' Aspiration and complete the steps and you get it as a reward.

 

If you have Get to Work EP take your Dates to the Odd Park in San Myusho for privacy.

It's on the far right down at the bottom and no other Sims will visit there for some reason.

Has an almost complete house to use, except for a Bed, which I edited and added one upstairs.

Shower and Toilet upstairs also seem to be bugged so I moved them around.

Good spot for starting a Rags to Riches story.

I don't have MC_Woohoo. Do you need it for MCCC and WW to work together? I can try and see if that helps.

I added the Player trait to the sims but it didn't make a difference. Did some further testing and it seems to happen in the base game too. It could be linked to a current issue with the Player trait, but I'm not sure. Maybe WW is being affected too? Kinda sad because you can't have multiple relationships under the same roof or they autonomously talk to each other and lose relationship points.

Sounds strange as I don't have that problem but I haven't updated my game yet so hard to tell.

As long as you don't have any third party romance mods installed it could just be a settings in WW causing it.

MCCC itself has a Tuner setting that can disable random autonomous flirting among NPC's or your Played Sims.

If you don't have MC_Woohoo installed then the jealousy system isn't there.

 

In game select Wicked > Settings Control > Export Settings

This is for a backup so you can try importing my saved settings for testing and revert back if you don't like them.

But you can then look around in the new WW settings and maybe see what's different, and if it's fixed at least.

 

The file goes directly into WickedWhimsMod/WickedWhimsSettings/

Then you just import it and save, exit, restart.

It's seriously weird. For some reason I can't import your settings either. I exported the current settings, dropped yours directly into the WickedWhimsSettings folder but it just doesn't show up. It's the same across all games.

Bummer, it must need the other file too in order to see it.

 

Rename your WickedWhimsSettings to OLDWickedWhimsSettings and just extract the zip & copy the new one into the WickedWhimsMod folder.

Thank you! I managed to import them this time. It's still displaying the awkward conversation heading but it doesn't seem to be having a negative effect on their relationship, which is much better. The main settings seem to be quite similar, other than attractiveness and pregnancy being disabled.  I have tried with jealousy and attractiveness off before, so I'm not really sure what was causing it. I really appreciate the help
