I used https://modthesims.info/d/588159/height-slider.html before but I guess it's outdated and caused floating tongues, so I changed it to luumia height sliders. however, I don't like that the heights get reset during WW animations. i could swear there was an option about height sldiers, but I can't find it anymore. so I'm wondering are there other height mods that keep height differences, and don't cause floating tongues?
Oops19 Posted July 21, 2022 Posted July 21, 2022 Import the old rig - probably from a previous ww version - with tongue bones into WW and overwrite the new one. Except of 1-2 animations by khlas where the butt is no longer animated you wont miss a thing but of course get the tongue back to work normally. The floating tongue is not related to any height slider.

The floating tongue is not related to any height slider. hi, sorry for barging in but can you please direct me on how to find an old rig, to then overwrite the new one? i'm inexperienced in modding and currently using WW 170f, but also would like to be able to use height sliders with tongues again. thanks for any help you can spare.
Oops19 Posted August 10, 2022 Posted August 10, 2022 Open ww.package with S4S and select 'Batch Import'. Select this file and it will replace the existing rig in the package. Save the package file and your done. In case you don't have S4S: Download S4S (Sims 4 Studio) from https://sims4studio.com/ Install it (I always use the ZIP and extract it). Not sure whether you need the old Blender version or not to import the file - if importing fails look for a Blender 2.76 download (there I also use the ZIP as I have more than one Blender version installed). Save the package file and your done. hi, i installed blender 2.76, but don't know how to proceed. do i open every ww_(animation by creator).package, import the rig, and repeat, or do i open the ww.tuning.package (because the other ww file is a .script file)? do i open the file through blender or S4S? i tried opening the tuning.package through S4S 'clip' > 'animation' > 'warehouse' > batch import the rig in warehouse, but the clip looks empty so i don't think i did it right. same thing happened when i opened a WW_(animation by creator).package. can you please share a step by step when you have time, sorry for being a total blender/S4S noob. thanks again in advance.

The clips are just fine and properly support the old rig. yes, i used S4S to open TURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Tuning.package > batch imported the rig > in-game got a WW error saying the tuning and script file mismatched.
Oops19 Posted August 16, 2022 Posted August 16, 2022 Well, you may create two empty packages SURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Tuning.package und UURBODRIVER_WickedWhims_Tuning.package and add the rig to both of them, so it will very likely override the WW tuning. While it seems that TD makes it as hard as possible to avoid that one is still using the old rig.
