CTD on load or changing cell after sex involving the Player

Yeah, like the topic says. Everything works fine until I want to load a savegame after having sex or changing the cell. The save game doesn't get corrupted, though. A workaround is Having sex -> saving the game -> quit the game -> reload. This is rather tiresome though and I would hope for a fix, I don't know if this is caused by my active mods / load order or if SexLab is the culprit. If the sex happens between two NPCs everything works fine, no problems here. Just when the player is involved (doesn't matter if the PC is male or female, btw.)

 

Oh, and I also started a brand new game to see if the problem persists, and yes it does. So the issue is nothing that developed over time, it's there from the start.

 

 

That being said, a FAQ in this subforum would be nice, containing known bugs, common problems caused by other mods, incompabilities and such.

Which version are you running? I upgraded from v1.01 to v1.12 and developed these problems. Downgrading to v1.11 seems to have solved this for now, though I want more time to test before I say this for sure.

Ah sorry, forgot to mention that. I was having this problem with 1.11 and upgraded to 1.12 today, but no luck. Started a new game with both 1.11 and 1.12, the issue is still there.

This is why I'm sticking with .1 for now. I used to have that issue too. I began to play with .1 and the issue hasn't popped up.

Can you tell me where I can download the previous version before 12? I posted about an issue which encompasses this trait along everything else I struggled with. It would be greatly appreciated

not that I can tell, I could not find it in the SexLab thread, if you have it, can you kindly upload the file? It would be very much appreciated. Also, there is now atleast three threads which seems to be talking about the same thing

So, I wanted to play Skyrim again, updated everything, new Sexlab version, new version of FNIS et cetera. The very same problem I had a few months ago does not want to go away, however - I still get a ctd after changing cells (or loading a game) after a sexlab animations is finished. All is fine until I load a game or travel to another cell, mind you - no CTD in the middle of an animation, no strange NPC behaviour or anything like that. The game only CTDs under these circumstances, change cell, BAM, hello desktop. I have only tried MatchMaker to initiate sex animations so far, don't know how it would go with Defeat, but I think it would be the same. Those are the only two SL plugins I use fyi.

 

Of course I started a brand new game after updating all the things. So it's not like the save game got destroyed while updating stuff or something like that.

Well, it seems it was a fault on my end. My Skyrim installation is pretty old, so naturally, I installed and removed quite a bit of mods - I've gone through the scripts folder and removed quite a bit of stuff that was left by mods I don't use anymore. I don't get CTDs anymore. Yay.
