Grecia300 Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Aight, so I got a new pc recently and my entire skyrim install is on an external harddrive. I have this error that is stopping me from playing, and is also stopping me from running Mass Effect 3 and my Epic Games Store. The error : Application error 0xc000007b. I have tried reinstalling Skyrim, redist, directx, net framework, running command prompt as admin and running the chkdsk/sfc command, updating windows, running all affected programs as admin, reinstalling DLL's, and running skyrim in compatibility mode and nothing worked Processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz 64-bit operating system GPU - Nvidia Geforce GT 1030 I could really use some help with this. I have no idea what else I can do to fix this. To my mind, it has to be either a registry issue or a windows install issue...? Maybe?
MadMansGun Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 i can't find anything helpfull apart from trying something called "Dependency Walker" to look at the dlls being loaded.

I didnt go to that video specifically, but the AiO installer I tried. I openned up Skyrim in Dependency Walker and while I have no clue what almost any of it meant, it did tell me there were errors detected "Error: At least one required implicit or forwarded dependency was not found. Error: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in an implicitly dependent module. Error: Modules with different CPU types were found. Warning: At least one delay-load dependency module was not found. Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in a delay-load dependent module."
Grecia300 Posted July 14, 2022 Author Posted July 14, 2022 Aight so for anyone else that has this issue, I had to completely reinstall windows 10 to fix this.
