What does "custom location" mean?

I was making a playlist for the first time, and I notice some of the locations were simply called "custom location". how exactly do I trigger these animations in the first place?

I'm taking a guess here, but I'd say it's one of those animations that goes with special items you have to download separately. Particularly the BDSM-modders aren't content with couches and rugs and have made a few new locations for their animations.

Any object that doesn't fit any standard sex location category is configured as custom location.
