Pubic hair texture/colour resetting when clothing equipped/unequipped

I've been using this mod to change the colour of my characters pubic hair so it matches what is on her head, but whenever I equip then unequip armour or clothing the colour resets back and I have to use console to change it again. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how I might fix it?

it is because the armor modder use their own body texture (default) and not Pubic hair texture / color! I also believe that you can not resolve this error.

Aw, damn. Would there be a way to replace the generic brown pubic hair texture that comes with CBBE with the blonde one? Thanks for your reply regardless.

Just change the default color of the public hair with nifskope.

That worked, thanks.  Probably the most technical thing I've ever done with Skyrim, feeling ridiculously pleased with myself lol.
