Auto advance stage don't work

Recommended Posts

Hello

I recently make a clean reinstall with full AE and as such i have AE version of SexLab framework. For my character and even more  annoying for the NPC too, stages of sex animations don't auto advance even if i check the option in SexLab MCM. It repeats infinitely the first scene.

Does someone have an idea where it can come from and how to solve it?

FWIW, the first animation stage(s) of some sequences skips like a broken record on the first couple stages. Lieto Kissing, for instance, which often starts consensual acts. Observationally, the first and second stages perform a repeat until you manually advance the stage (or, anecdotally, until they're perfectly aligned lip to lip, although that could; just be coincidence and it's simply decided to advance, using whatever internal SL magick to make it happen) . There are a few others that have similar "skipping", although Lieto Kissing is the one that really stands out to me.

the workaround is to manually advance.

idk if that rings a bell for you. If not, do you mean every animation sequence? If so, I don't have  a clue.

I use Leito yes. But in my previous play when i had still last version of SE (downgraded), they did only a few kisses (as lead in) and then go to the main course by selecting another animation. As that's supposed to work with auto advance stage activated.

Advance stage manually is an option for sex act my character is involved in, but i don't know a way to advance stage for NPC sex, only way i found to stop infinite repeat is using the debug command to stop all animations in SexLab MCM.

Yes, that's for every sex scene: auto advance stage seems totally broken for some reason.

It's possible you have a conflict with your hotkeys.  I think this has happened for me before with being able to advance animation stages.

This is really tedious if this is the cause.  If so, double check your hotkey selection for advancing animation stages.  Then you'll need to check every single mod with hotkey settings in the MCM to see if any are *also* using that same hotkey.

I don't remember what mod caused it for me, but I had to change the other mod's hotkey, or maybe I deleted the mod, I don't remember except that it wasn't a mod I kept around.  Once I changed the hotkey or deleted the mod, whichever, it fixed things for me.

I'm not saying this is your problem, I don't know.  But it is one possibility that the hotkeys settings between mods are conflicting by using the same key.

I re-read your post and realized you were talking about auto-advancing stages.  For some reason I completely spaced out and thought you were talking about manually advancing stages.

Isn't there a way to select NPCs ("N" by default I think?) and then advance their stage?  I thought there was but maybe I am remembering incorrectly.

Hotkey can eventually explain a problem with MANUAL advance stage but not for AUTOMATIC advance stage.

I try to downgraded SexLab version and auto advance work again (but other things are broken naturally as they need SexLab AE) so the problem come from the last version of Sexlab.

Hate to Necro but this error popped up again for me on 1.66b, I got it working for a while by reinstalling and making sure none of the papyrus Utils override it but now it gives the errors seen in the pics and reverts Sexlab to a previous version even though I only have 1.66b installed
