How to merge meshes into one file in bodyslide and outfit studios? Help

I apologize in advance, English is not my native language

Since JB has little support in the community, I've always wanted to pair high heels with him. I usually carve the cbb model's feet and do it the same way on jane's tuned body, then put them together and put them on in the game itself. The problem is that I forgot how to do it, that year I was able to merge the cut parts into one file by typing and made the body with heels as a file of heels clothes (at the chemical station I created heels, put them on, and my standard body turned into a muscular body jane with heels)

Well the way I did heels for ICEstorm shoes was found a Bodytype that had feet that fit the Atomic Beauty body.

Using a feet set that would morph to heeled feet,

Set that to the reference, and bring in my AB feet

Conform my AB feet

Now my AB feet have a Heel Foot morph,

Import the Shoes

Move the Heel Foot morph till it lined up enough with the Shoe.

Set shape, this way the feet will stay as the morph shape without having the slider on.

After that use masking on the shoes, mask off on whole shoe and all its parts.

Now if we use "move object" it will only move the unmasked parts of the shoes.....

And we can just move the shoe into proper position

Do the same for the other shoe.

Now the tricky part after that was just to decide on how to "inflate/deflate" the shoes or the feet.

Also might use some masking on the feet and make ZAPs.

Thinking about it, I got the Heel Foot reference for Atomic Beauty from IKAROS androids actually which has heeled references for Fusion Girl, Atomic Beauty, and I think CBBE.

Atomic Beauty is of course TrophiHunters favorite body started as an AB IKAROS, and I provided a lot of outfit mods for it.

Dont know much about Jane Bod though.

Thanks, I'll try!

Yup, but go over to here, Link for the main Android Race mod

https://www.trophihunter.com/fallout4-mods/ikaros-androids

You will find IKAROS body has built in heel morphs, can just grab a morph off that for your feet on about any body just has to be close.

I think there are other ones floating around somewhere.

Unfortunately, I can’t do it, what did you say, maybe you know people on this forum who could help with this matter? Convert the body with heels into a file of heels for the chemical station.

Problem solved! I figured out how to do it. Thank you for taking the time for me!)))

This is an example,

Here is my Atomic Beauty Reference body it has no heeled foot slider....But I want it too fit the heeled shoes.....

image.png

Now lets think about this for a moment....SHOES are almost always slot 33 which is the main slot always and of course it has a naked body in the mesh.

So what can I do to make those feet there fit in a heeled shoe....

Well if it does not show the foot, I can simply ZAP out the feet.

BUT what if it shows the naked feet in the shoe?

2 options,

1) I could simply try to align the ankles of my prefered body and the feet/ankle shoe

Then I just ZAP away the body inside the original shoe model that are am adapting to AB body.

Of course this means that the ankles might not align, the textures might be fucked up on the feet cause they could be for some other body type, and well I might see a seem on the ankles.

2) IF I have a reference body, any reference body that contains a heeled foot slider......

Well I could use that to do what?

I can use that to make my prefered body have a heeled foot.

image.png

Steps on how I got there....

1) load up my prefered body

2) Unselect it as a reference

3) Load up a reference body that has a heeled foot morph

That is all I have done so far.

Now what do I do from here to make my zero'd prefered body have that heeled foot?

Slider Tab,

Slider Conform All.

image.png

BUT, Im not trying to adapt the slider morph to my reference body, I just want my foot to be in a good enough position!

How can I force that foot to be stuck there when I export this body to the desktop as a mesh nif?

image.png

That forces the body to have that Morph shape, now I can deselect that morph but the foot wont go back to default position!

ITs stuck that way now, which is what I want...

Wait a minute, that is not the actual arch I need for my shoe?

Oh come on man Cornpop was a bad dude!

No no, tell me how to make it like the arch of my shoe that I have....

Ok well how about we import the shoe?

You can do that?

Yes we can.

image.png

Now we import, ICEStorm shoe.

The Shoe will be down near the feet.

We can then try to match as best as we can the alignment of your desired bodies foot arch with the arch in the shoe.

After we have eyeballed it real good, we will set the desired body "set base shape"

Now we have our desired body with good enough foot arch for a specific shoe.

What now?

Well now we can just start fiddling with it until our foot fits the shoe how we like it, but I am not going that far with this tutorial guide.

Lets just assume you already know how to use Inflation, Deflation, MASKING, Rotation, and Move commands.

Usage of the commands is going to be a little different anyway each time highly dependant on what shapes we have.

I will also assume you already have knowledge of how to use ZAP.

OK Gameplayer, I finally have my foot arch lined up with the shoe and I dont need the original body no more cause its ugly.

Ok, remove the original body you dont need it anymore.

Ok Game, I dont need the crappy reference body that had the heeled foot morph anymore.

Fine, lets replace that reference body with your "prefered reference body"

And now since we have our original reference body back you know what we can do right?

Wait I have my prefered body already why do I need the original reference body back?

You need the original back so that you can grab the original morphs for your prefered body back.

I can show you a picture it would look like 2 of your bodies one with heeled feet extended wearing shoes and another overlapping that with feet in default position but Im not working on heeled feet and have none to share.

Grab the morphs off the original reference body you prefer.

You might think but dont I need the heel morph on my shoes?  NOPE because its useless we only needed it for getting the foot on your body into the correct position.

What you will be left with is, your original body wearing heeled shoes feet in correct position with your normal morphs for said body.

I know its confusing but we cannot be constrained to normal boy tutorials if we are to make outfits work for a body that is niche.

We gotta think outside the box and understand the tools better than the bulk of people that make outfits for bodyslide.
