RedMonika Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 Yes - you can use your CBBE preset for a UUNP bodyslide mod without converting it! Yes! You really can! How do you, you ask? Follow along and I'll show you. We're going to need some stuff before we do: 1. Bodyslide and Outfit Studio 2. A CBBE armor mod 3. The UUNP armor mod you want to use Obviously, anyone doing this should have Bodyslide and Outfit Studio already. Chances are you are already using a CBBE armor mod. For this tutorial I'm going to be using: 1. Remodeled Armor for CBBE 2. Katarina Armor and its UUNP Bodyslide conversion With the mods installed I'll open Katrina's armor in Bodyslide: Spoiler The UUNP sliders are listed. Notice that they're all at 0%. If we scroll down we'll see those for CBBE: Spoiler Here we have CBBE Curvy preset. Looking at it in Preview: Spoiler Doesn't look to good, right? The body looks strange because it's a UUNP body. If a different preset is chosen like CBBE Slim the outfit changes but not the body: Spoiler This means that just the body needs to be replaced with a CBBE body. Click "Build" and then "Outfit Studio." A window comes up for Outfit Studio but we're going to use two windows. Click on "Outfit Studio" once more. It's easy and less confusing to use two windows. One for the 0.nif and the other for the 1.nif. The left window I use for the 0.nif and the right for the 1.nif. Follow the path provided in Bodyslide to the mod. If you're not using the current version of Bodyslide it will now display the path to the armor on the bottom-left. Click "File" > "Load Outfit": Spoiler On the "Load Outfit" window click on "Browse" for "From File" and select the 0.nif. If you're using the two window trick select the 1.nif in the other: Spoiler Again, the outfit can be found by the path provided in Bodyslide. Spoiler Now, we just need to replace the body. In Bodyslide select a CBBE outfit. My default is using CTT7 Fur 2 from Remodeled Armor: Spoiler Click "Build" and we'll fix up Katrina's armor: Spoiler On the top-right right-click on "UUNP" and select "Delete": Spoiler The body will be removed: Spoiler Click "File" > "Load Reference...": Spoiler In the "Load Reference" click "Browse" for "From File": Spoiler Browse to the armor mod you're going to use and choose the nif you're working on. In the "Load Reference" window different parts of the mod will be listed under "Shape": Spoiler Select "BaseShape" and "OK." The BaseShape will be inserted into the Outfit Studio window: Spoiler Right-click on "BaseShape" and select "Set Reference": Spoiler "BaseShape" will now be white. There's a couple of spots that are clipping. To fix this I'm going to use the brush to increase the mesh: Spoiler Selecting the jacket and using the brush the clipping can be fixed: Spoiler To finish this click on "File" > "Export" > "To NIF...": Spoiler Browse to the UUNP mod and replace the 0.nif and 1.nif. Remember that if you rebuild the mod you'll have to go through this again.
