LiminalDreamer Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 I've been working on making some of my OCs as sims and it's going a bit rough. A few of my characters are powerful, big, manly ones and everything I try to make ends up looking kinda badly balanced and just generally really off. The one I'm showing is supposed to be real sharp and powerful looking but he comes off as a walmart brand of what he's supposed to be. I spent almost an hour trying to tweak his body shape and trying different things but he still came out looking soft and pudgy- its worse in sex because they often come up looking painted. It's not the DILF bod I'm looking for. Another one of my males is supposed to be slim but muscular but keeps coming out looking way too feminine. Like everything I make looks too soft. I'm not looking for ultra hyper realism or anything crazy, but I really would like to up my men game. My women are fine, like they're great all around and I've got them looking beautiful. But for some reason the game seems to tilt to making men look too soft and it's ruining my manly characters. Please feel free to list me down some modlists, authors, anything that will help me fix this. I'm not really new to Sims 4, but I'm new to actually getting deep into modding appearance and the looks of my characters.
SAFMeiko Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 You may need to spend an additional hour to find a CC that looks sharp, since normal MM costumes are basically softer in appearance. You may need to keep in mind subtraction instead of making the hips smaller or the parts larger. Maybe introduce body sliders? If you are comfortable with it.

I'mma give all this and the stuff I've found a go and see if I can't make my men look a lot better. And I'm cool with anything in my game long as it involves consenting adults.

(This is also if you don't insist on MM (maxismatch)) Also, my personal feeling is that the fat slider feels like it reflects more heavily on the outfit than when naked... I feel like it would work better if I set the fat to 0 and readjust, then increase the fat if it's not enough.
