Throwmeaway6 Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 This is my first time asking for help so apologies if i've formatted this wrong! I have been having a bad time since "upgrading" to Anniversary Edition of Skyrim SE, made even worse by the lack of .NET Script Framework to help with debugging errors. I'm close to sacking Skyrim off completely but before I do I thought i'd post my Papyrus Logs, Load order and anything else people think would help to fix these issues. The CTD happens when entering the Bannered Mare (Even if I go straight there on a fresh game). I don't have any conflicts according to Loot and have cleaned my mods with SSEEdit, i've attached my Load order and logs but let me know if anything else would help. I'm also getting issues at Elysium Estate but this seems to creep in after a couple of hours playtime. Going there at the beginning is okay. I'm hoping some veterans on here can see an obvious conflict or something that i'm missing or have done wrong Any help would be appreciated! Papyrus.0.log Papyrus.1.log SSE NIF Optimizer (Texture Scan).txt loadorder.txt
DeWired Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Hm. It looks like an SKSE problems. So, first you need to check if you are runnging game through latest SKSE launcher (sorry, had to make sure), then try to disable most of the mods and enable them in small groups to try and find culprit - some mod that you either haven't updated, or that is incompatible with AE as it didn't recompile it's SKSE module for it. For example, Schlongs of Skyrim don't support AE as is, and requires DLL from another download. 1
Throwmeaway6 Posted June 18, 2022 Author Posted June 18, 2022 Thanks man! Unfortunately i'm on the latest SKSE (2.1.5) and i've gone through the hassle of getting SOS working with AE as there's some workarounds floating about. I think you're right about having to just turn them all off and test. It's just such a ballache when you're flying blind and have to turn them all on after creating a character, then go to the places that CDT to verify ? I might have to just leave it for a few months and then come back when I have the energy, thanks for the reply man!

Do you have any custom followers that would be residing there?

I've got Sofia and Inigo, I don't think i've got anyone inside there who might cause problems but i'll have a go at removing them, thanks man!
Fiend71 Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 Actually, just see if having those two wait outside helps. I've had to do that at the Riverwood Trader before. 1
jlttsmiley30 Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 This is what I use not sure if it works with AE but you can try. Sometimes scripts can be come broken when a save is automatically created , an the fact that Skyrim runs on previous save files can create a CTD point. Which will be resaved into all other saves until removed or cleaned out. This YouTube video has instructions and a link to the save cleaner for SE Hope it helps 2

I figured it was because i'd messed up with my installation order but this hadn't occurred to me, i'll give it a go ?

hggg55 Posted May 3, 2024 Posted May 3, 2024 same problem. By sifting, I found the reason for the crashes when entering the tavern. it's all because of this mod TEG_SolstheimSE
