Temp229482 Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 I'm fairly new to blender and I've tried searching for tutorials but all that comes up is stuff about fixing holes in meshes. I want to add a hole to a robe so that you can see the sim's penis sticking out. Any ideas?
Vthena Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 Chances are, there is nothing under the skirt. So you need to import a nude model, to replace the missing parts.
Kyle Woohoo Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 If you found out or created some cc like that let me know ?
Oops19 Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 A tutorial is available here: https://sims4studio.com/thread/1469/tutorial-create-transparent-skirt

I wouldn't know where to stop for that to happen if I followed that tutorial.

That's kinda what I thought, I'd have to append a nude model to the robe, which is fine. But then would I have to append the penis mesh separately onto the robe, or the nude bottom?

You need to : - Remove the bottom part of the dress/skirt. - Duplicate the faces of the skirt or extrude it to give it some thickness, in order to deal with backface culling. (Invisible faces) - Append your new model. In this case, the lower half of the Sims. (Or anything else.) - Adjust the UV maps. (Relocate the skirt UV, because the legs will get in the way.) - Merge your models, make sure to avoid seams, holes, and duplicated vertices. - Weight Paint your model by hand (automatic weight painting/weight transfer won't work well.) - Set the Vertex paint to pure green (optional but recommended) - Adjust the textures so it fits the new UV. (You need a 2D editing software for that) I think that's it. Now you can peek under the skirt and see some legs! There is plenty of tutorials about CC creations on Youtube. Blue Craving for example made a great in-depth serie about creating custom content.

You may want to do this 2-3 times to know how it works before you follow Athena's directions as there are really a few things which are not easy when done the 1st time. You may even skip the creation of the lower body and create an accessory as ring, head or leggings. It may not match 100% the lower body the user has selected but it allows the user to use their own lower body.
