Two Sims 4 Installs?

anyone know if we can have two Sims 4 installs?

Trying to check out new mods but i don't want to test them in my current installation

You can use your setup as it is...

Just rename your Mods folder to Old Mods. (You can move this to your Desktop if you want)

Make a new folder named Mods.

Copy whatever you want from Old Mods into Mods.

Make sure you copy the Resource.cfg file

 

Now you can replace or add whatever you want in your new Mods folder for testing.

Delete your localthumbcache.pkg in your TS4 folder.

Start a brand new save so you don't mess up your old save.
