cthulhu worship
I am interested in converting armor into A cup size, but afraid i cant find a decent tutorial to teach me. Im new with nifscope and blender. Can anyone share any information or step by step guide? The mods below are ones I am interest in converting: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/31748 (Ryk Swimwear) http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/23589/ (R18pn Lingerie set) http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/29495 (Backteppos PE Dress for HGEC) If anyone want to help convert these or take a crack at it, it would be great. gregathit
Unfortunately there is no such thing as a comprehensive guide to armor conversions. However an excellent place to start your journey would be with this thread: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/10838-guide-blender-nifskope/ Link to comment
theskid
I highly recommend installing this script for blender, it isn't perfect but takes a lot of the work out converting http://www.loverslab.com/topic/10396-clothing-bodytype-converter-v42b/ Once you have your lattices you can transform a mesh and then import the body and do patch edits till its done. I also found Jonas's tutorials for blender nifskope good, though they are aimed at fallout stuff. Oblivion modding is a bit easier http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/45444/? Lastly blender is fucking god damn mean fucking cold as ice fucking bitch to learn (yes that is 3 fuckings and blender deserves all that and then some), and there is no one tutorial that really explains anything in easy general detail. The nexus has several other tutorials that are decent http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Category:Tutorials , but no one covers everything in a single one, and a lot of them assume you have an idea of what they mean. I use this version of blender : http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/42755/? It is already packed with everything you need for oblivion and fallout conversions. Link to comment
gregathit
Theskid is correct on all counts except one: Blender deserves a 5 star fucking difficulty rating....not a 3. With all of the tutorials listed and the tools Gerra6 left for us in the modders resources section, you should be able to do most things with minimum manual editing. Cheers, Greg Link to comment
Myst42
So... I finally made one... a tutorial... http://www.loverslab.com/topic/19624-oblivion-some-tutorials-and-stuff/ Tried to cover everything from the beginning Want to be my tutorial test subject? A successful trial means you were able to do it General rule is learn the basics and then acquire some skill That should get you started on converting things... Link to comment
