wunderbar Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Oh Chukkake, I must say, you and your loincloth are giving me the vapors~. Anyways, I went Nord. Seemed simplest, although I don't really plan to side with Stormcloak. Ice resistance is neat, plus, it's nice not having all the Nord city NPCs hating me. I stab ghosts. I mostly sneak, use swords, talk my way out of shit and smith things. I'm also an avid dungeon crawler.
chukkake Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 That's an interesting contrast in blades you have there. I like how one's dark, gritty and bloodstained while the other is elegant, clean and pure. before I rant about dichotomy of man or something> Anyway, just rolled a second char, an Altmer mage-to-be. It's interesting to see how people react to different races. Nords seem to gain almost universal acceptance, while the people my Altmer has spoken to have been defensive and/or suspicious about potential Thalmer connections.
ThatOneFurryInEveryFandom Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 It's to bad the game is so off-balanced towards the nords with dragon fights. They have a serious advantage due to their cold resist, since the dragons that breathe ice are the more dangerous ones...normally. The fire-breathers are almost pathetic...
Vyrce Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Nord, Ranged stealth assassin goddess of death. 100 smith&stealth 80 something marks. I've started to 5 shot blood dragons. tho i'm not entirely sure where they are in the dragon hierarchy.
Eyrika Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 How do you take a screenshot of your character from the front with their weapons out? Also, how do you center your character? Mine always stands off to the side if I try to take a close up shot. Are you all using the same camera codes from Oblivion? I feel stupid

wunderbar Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Another cool trick is to type, "tfc 1", this will freeze everything in the game, allowing you to capture special moments without someone moving out of place, or an NPC getting in the way.

Silk Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Can I ask what happened to my beloved dark elves? Is there anyway to remove the bags and wrinkles from their faces?
Kain82 Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 My main character is a Nord warrior called Odin Stormrage. Who dreams of an independant Skyrim. My latest character is an Imperial Battlemage named Lucius Cornelius Sulla. Who is loyal to the empire.
chukkake Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Can I ask what happened to my beloved dark elves? Is there anyway to remove the bags and wrinkles from their faces? Dunno if you've already found a fix since it's been a few days' date=' but this might help you. No luck for male chars, though.

I think I have a man crush You've saved my Sionlin 10 years on the same character
Aperson69 Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 How do you take screenshots? "Prt Scr" don't seem to work for me... The Steam client takes screengrabs with F12.
Alyss Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Nord, then a Breton, then an Imperial. I'm all about white human women.
Glugg Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 All girl characters for me, as usual. Currently cycling through a Breton paladin, Khajiit assassin/thief, Khajiit nightblade, and a modded Elin warrior. I've got a mage on the drawing board.
canthics Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Breton as proxy for Akaviri, human, not the racist tamrielic conceptions of a taesci dominated beast-land. They have the right facial features and "dragonskin" ability fits well with the conception of the character. Or thalmor, not just altmer, but thalmor, because the best way to respond an ingame story that demand I side with either a militaristic, colonialist ersatz empire and a band of xenophobic aryan supermen, both of which justify atrocities to resistance to some timeless yellow-skinned, slant-eyed peril whose concept is so ill-conceived that a 19th century wild west demagogue could have thought it up is to take up the role of that peril and laugh at the story while I carve the "good guys" up in storm and flame. male, because there are no sex mods yet crafter, because killing a giant with one hit with no weapon perks is fun.
sotnas Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 My first character (finish game) is a stealth anorexic archer without magic khajitt .
WitchGirl Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 My first character was a male Heavy Armor Two-Handed Orc, prefers Battleaxes. My second character is a female Unarmored, Conjurer Dunmer, prefers undead. My third character is a female Light Armor, Dagger wielding Imperial, prefers stealth. My forth character is a female nudist archer Bosmer werewolf cannibal who is annoyed that Bosmer characters don't have to uphold the Green Pact and eat only meat. Cabbages should be poisonous to Wood Elves!
cyanure Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 DarkerThanBlack,a very cynical and amoral dark elf woman,Mage and mistress of destruction before anything, daedra lover too, prefering to live in a world she know than been dead somewhere due to an over grown lizard, pyromancer, dual caster but enjoying a good shock or freeze here and there,a warning never lets her handle a weapon, she is a danger with anyone in hand(almost never use any weapons)
ahondara Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 First play-through was a Dunmer female, 2nd was Khajiit Male, newest character is Redguard female. Khajiit was really good at fist fighting, and just tougher in general than the Dunmer -- though I couldn't give a crap about night vision. The Dunmer female was really fun, though nowhere near as strong as the Khajiit. So far, the only thing the Redguard chick has going for her is looks. She's crap in a brawl, and I swear she gets killed 3times more than either of my last 2 characters. She will die just when someone just hurts her feelings. Note that I only chose her because I have a thing for white haired Redguard bandit females, so I am paying the price for succumbing to my perversion. (sigh)
sdd500 Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 I usually go for sneaky type imperial. Well, they are not suitable race to become sneaky. Still it's quite challenging and that's what i enjoy.
