Sim to npc

I hired a live in maid to help me around the house and do a little bit of roleplay but I don't like how the npc looks. I just wanna ask if you can make your a sim and turn them into a service npc or a maid in particular that you can hire. Any help would be appreciated ?

Are you familiar with MCCC?  If not, check it out:  https://deaderpool-mccc.com/#/

It does a LOT of really cool things.  Such as, you can copy-paste a sim from your library over any sim in the game.

If you have (or once you get) MCCC, click the sim, MC CAS, Copy/Paste, Paste Tray Sim.  A list of all your library sims of the same gender comes up, and you choose which one.  One last menu where you choose whether you want to overwrite their name, traits, clothes, etc.  Then click Paste Sim Now and done.

yup.  use it to modify fugly townies all the time.  cant imagine playing the game without it now, tbh

you can use "Control Any Sim" mod (search on google) and modify the sim in the mirror.
