I don't think there is an official thread for it here and asking a question in discord in my experience the answers almost always get buried in the chat and I needs a lot of backreading to find. I don't really get to check discord very often and when I do there are already plenty of messages sent in a short period of time. I get how it works on the player character but can I use it on npcs? Can I get npcs to produce soulgems on their own like when they get downed with SL Defeat? How do I harvest milk from them? The sperm production I think is meant for male characters although I can make it so my female character does it but what if I want to harvest sperm from npcs how do I trigger that? There aren't really a lot in the mcm menu no hotkeys for selecting npcs or menus to control soulgem related aspects of npcs the github page is also very technical and doesn't really have a lot to show users the ropes.
pinky6225 Posted June 1, 2022 Posted June 1, 2022 Yes it works for NPC's, while a NPC is under the cursor (so there name is showing) bring up the menu like you would for the PC and it will have the NPC's details like how many gems they have, how much milk etc

I did it once with lydia but I used the scanner on her first. I might've too far away from her. I'll try it again. Thanks!

I'll try it again. Thanks! Think you need to turn the scanner off by triggering it with nothing targetted and then use the other option, i have both added as a favorite so i can access quickly

If you have gems in your inventory you can insert them into NPC's using the insert option that should appear on the wheel that pops up when you call the menu Mines disabled as i've turned milk/gems off for this NPC but these are the options you should have Insert requires gems in inventory (not 100% on whether they need to be filled gems - don't think they do) and inseminate requires sperm in inventory

It works! I think the gems get filled after its done incubating inside someone. All the gems I harvest are all filled even the empty ones I inserted.
