IamaSquidkid Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 this is a bug i've only started experiencing recently.
Oldwolf58 Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 You'll need to give more info than that before anyone will be able to help you, like what mod manager are you using, did you check to ensure that the mod manager actually put all the files for caliente's where they should be, do you have clothing mods that have bodyslide files and do you have bodyslide installed etc etc

Every guide i've seen has never shown anything about the locations of where files are supposed to be.

If it's MO2 I can help you but if its vortex it'll have to be someone else since I don't use it. If you are using MO2 are you running Bodyslide from inside MO2 or trying to run it on it's own? Bodyslide MUST run from inside MO2 to work otherwise you'll end up with a problem like you are showing.

BDNelson Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 I have used Vortex for at least 5 years on a number of different games. In BodySlide, you MUST turn on the morph files, Bodyslide will not work without them. CBBE is not the only mod you need to have installed BEFORE you test it in game. There are a lot more than that. You must "Choose Groups". You must have a body preset in place and selected. And that's just the beginning. Are ALL of your "Tools" in place? I use CBBE 3BA, I have 529 mods in place and working, my women look FANTASTIC! You just have to figure out the right combination of mods to make it work right, I did it and I'm a 64 year old V.N. combat vet. This game is the first game where I chose a female PC, I love it! 1
anjenthedog Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 (edited) Another "old fart" here. First game I installed in well over a decade. I've used Vortex since day 1 and never had these missing resources issues. Afaik, in addition to what has been said, if you're using alternate folders from the defaults desired by Bethesda for game installation (that goes for mods too), you'll need to make sure your pathing is correct. By default, Bodyslide & Outfit Studio presumes the same thing as Skyrim, that it's all installed to the default (root) path. I've seen dozens and dozens and dozens of posts over the past 3-1/2 years I've been playing that complained similarly about missing entries, and nearly every one came down to a pathing issue caused by game/mod installation to alternate folders than default. fwiw, ymmv. The Bodyslide webpage @Nexus has instructions for dealing with alternate pathing, fyi Edited August 15, 2022 by anjenthedog
