If I wanted to do a "last woman on earth" scenario where every sim is male except one, are there any mods that could delete the female sims and prevent new ones from spawning?

I remember a long time ago hearing about a mod that regulated NPCs, but I can't remember what it was called. Anyone know a good mod that would work for something like this?

There's two mods that deal with population control. There's Zero's "No Random Townies". There's also Paulson's "NPC Control".

The purpose of using either of these mods is to ensure that your existing townies fill all the service roles required so that no new townies get generated.

NPCC does this very well but it comes with a catch. The most recent versions of the mod are locked behind a paywall but the current publicly released version should serve your purposes. I don't use it myself but I used to.

You also have to make sure that new townies will not be created and moved into empty houses. There used to be a separate setting for that but if your game is up to date, that function has now been merged into the "Neighborhood Stories" function. The reason for disabling move ins is because you have no control over what kind of sims will be created to fill those houses and you could have females moving in.

With all that said, you will still have to look through all the sims in Manage Worlds occasionally and delete any females that could have been spawned. With either of the two mods previously mentioned, the likelihood is small but it could still happen.

In addition to using Paulson's NPCC as BatDood mentioned above to prevent new Random Townies from Spawning...

(Settings have to be changed to 'Do Not Generate New Sims)

I also use MCCC and set it up so only Female Sim Babies are made as I've done The Last Male on Earth Setup before.

But in your case you'd set it up for Males only.

It's also possible this way that only Random Male Sims would be Spawned into game if you don't use the NPCC Mod mentioned above.

Then you have to go into Manage Households and delete all the NPC Females except one.

Unless it's a Player Female you want to keep.

With MCCC Mod installed you can also just click on a Sim you want and select: MC Command Center > Sim Commands > Maintain Sim > Delete Sim.

This way you won't have any ghosts left behind like if you just killed them instead.

I suggest you download a savefile that has all the sims deleted, and then you populate it with your female sims.

Sounds good in theory but...

What if the save file comes from someone that has DLC's different from yours?

So they've used many BB objects from them to edit their Lots.

Now you have missing objects all over the place.

This isn't even considering they might have used downloaded CC objects for building, or CC clothing on their Sims.

Then you have naked Sims running around too.

Having to try to fix everything it might be easier to just create your own save to begin with.

What some others do, like myself, is create a Master Save to use for starting new games with, depending on what type of setup/playstyle you want.

MC Settings has a 'Pause Game on Zone' Switch that pauses the game when loading and/or when editing, travelling, etc.

This allows you to delete Sims, edit Sims, remodel Lots or replace them from your Library saves, etc., without any time passing.

You start with a dummy Sim to get started and you can either use them later or delete them later when you start a new save with a new Sim.

Once you load your Master Save you always do a 'Save As' Whatever so you don't overwrite your Master Save.

But if you forgot something in your Master you want changed you can always just edit it again to add or change things and then save it as the Master Save again.

It takes a bit of time to set one up but then you have it forever in case you want to avoid having to through all of it again later.

Then you use MCCC > MC Population > Population Settings > Import Tray Settings.

What if the person doesn't have any saved Sims to their Tray to import?

Oh yeah, good point. I didn't even think about new babies.

Okay, well it definitely looks like the "last woman on earth" scenario is doable. Here's a follow-up question; if I wanted to do like a corruption thing (where the one woman starts out really pure and innocent, then gradually gets more sexual), but I don't want to do that just by manually choosing whether to click the "have sex" button or not, are there any mods that assign sims like a level of sexuality, and regulate what kind of interactions they can have based on that? (For example, at level 0 you can't do any romantic interactions, then at level 1 you can flirt, etc.) That's really specific, so I'm guessing there isn't anything like this out there, but I wanted to make sure, since I've been away for so long.

EA Romance and WW Sex are 2 different Systems that are not really related because WW has lots of casual Sex without any Romance.

Generally speaking Sims don't do Autonomous EA Romance interactions although they might do autonomous flirting randomly.

Another MCCC Tuner setting used to prevent this is to disable auto-flirting, auto-proposals, and auto-marriage.

Now the game itself has added Neighborhood Stories more recently which will do some things you may not like either, like random NPC's getting pregnant, and other things.

This feature can be disabled in the game settings or just disable certain things.

There are a few Romance Mods around you might want to read up about that add or change a few different things that might do what you want.

If they don't you can just remove them.

(I just take care of the Romancing Sims Interactions myself so I have more control)

Now about the WW Sex Autonomy Control Settings...

You can control Autonomy pretty well with a few settings based mostly on Relationships whereas Sims need a higher Relationship before they will have auto-sex.

WW Settings/Relationship Settings/
Personality Settings:(Your Choice)
Attractiveness Settings: (Your Choice)
Persistent Social Boredom: OFF
Desire: ON
Relationship Utilities/
Open Relationships: ON (Cheating) (Turn this OFF if you don't want Sims Cheating on their Romantic Partners)

Autonomy Awareness: Player Sims: ON, Joining Sex: ON, Relationship Awareness: OFF,(Cheating) (Same as above)
Pregnancy Awareness: OFF, Sex Location Memory: ON, Sex Animation Memory: ON
Block around Children: (Your Choice)
***Joining Sex Gender Compliance: ON (OFF for sims to auto join in group sex)***
Joining Sex Relationship Compliance: OFF (ON=less joining in sex if in romantic relationships) (Another settings for WW Autonomy)

Wicked Settings > Sex Settings > Cheats > Always Accept (0 bars selected)

(This one can allow Sims to refuse Sex but if it's too strong just set it to 1 green bar only)

Manual NPC Sex Switch: On
Change Sex Location Anywhere Switch:(ON)
Global Instant Undressing: OFF (If/when using the other WW undressing options)
/Advanced Cheats:
Sims Needs Decay: OFF
Sex Relationship Impact Switch: Disable unless you want relationship gains from WW Sex.
Sex Privacy Switch: OFF (ON will restrict WW autonomy to private locations only)
**All Other Sex Reaction Switches: OFF

Wicked Settings > Sex Settings > Autonomy Settings > Autonomy Specifics:

NPC Sims Relationship Modifier: (set to -2.0 or more and sims must have higher relationships for autonomy between NPC's)
Player to NPC Sims Relationship Modifier: (same as above but for Player Sims)

(You might need to experiment with negative number values to find the best number so that only Romantic Partners have WW Sex Autonomy)

(-2.0 is a good starting point but you might need to use -10.0 for high romance partners only)

Forgot to mention any Sims that have either of the 2 EA Romantic Aspirations will get the 'Alluring' Trait added.

Serial Romantic I think is one of them.

This along with the WW Sexually Alluring Attribute(Trait) will boost WW relationship points which might bypass the above settings and allow them to

still have WW casual Sex.

If it's something you don't want happening then you'll have to remove those Traits from any Sims that have them.
